Great stay for a big group like ours, easy to deal with, only comment i had was after we had paid host then messaged saying hot tub would be an additonal payment to be heated. Would be better if it was included in overall payment or mentioned as an extra on listing. Host did waive the fee for us which was appreciated. Otherwise overall good stay.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here. The house is extremely tidy and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Enjoyed our stay! Clean place, easy to access.

We had the pleasure of spending Christmas at Vicki's cottage. The cottage was even better than expected - cosy, beautiful view and a great kitchen. There is a lovely costal walk and great local shop. Vicki was very a great host, very responsive and proactive. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

This was our Christmas holiday home and it was a perfect family stay for us. Stunning views, perfectly as described and just as expected - giving us a fantastic base at St Clair. We had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner and felt like we had a great family holiday. We loved the welcome/arrival gifts and our hosts were superbly responsive throughout our stay. A 5 star experience for a family break. We never tired of the ever changing scenery and Dunedin at night, twinkling away below the house , was stunning. Super comfy beds and a beautifully quiet road meant a great sleep was had every night. Thank you for a super stay.

Friendly host and clean spacious house

The A-frame had beautiful views out to the ocean and accommodated us all well. Some things to be aware of: no clothes dryer, with the wet summer we have had it made drying clothes on the clothes horse slow and constant job. Spiral staircase made it difficult to carry luggage to the 2 rooms on the next level. With only one bathroom we had to be strategic with everyone getting ready for the day. We had 2 vehicles and with no turning bay had to play car jenga each morning. These are things to be aware of when staying here. It didn’t detract from our stay and we enjoyed it very much. On the pros side: Great kitchen and bathroom supplies - plenty of everything you need. Beds comfortable with extra blankets. Walk to the beach.
