We had a lovely stay at the villa! Everything was amazing – from the beautiful surroundings to the comfortable accommodations. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We truly enjoyed our time and would absolutely come back again. The chef truly elevated our stay, it felt like dining at a top restaurant in the comfort of our villa. Each meal was a highlight of the day, and we were so impressed by the variety and quality. Highly recommended!

We loved the lodge, indoor-outdoor living in nature, such a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, the pool was refreshing and the staff were nice. The night was full of fireflies when we were there and the sounds of the jungle. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Honestly this is one of the best villas I’ve ever stayed in! I’m not exaggerating when I say this because the whole stay exceeded all our expectations The host Yannik was very gracious and accommodating to our early check in request. Every detail was clearly communicated in a friendly way and he was always on top of things to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The pool was definitely our highlight of the villa! We enjoyed swimming in the day, at night and even on the next day while it rained. The view around the pool is quite colorful and calming because of all flower plants surrounding the area. The villa was quite cozy and it had all the necessities a group may need. We had the best time making unforgettable memories and can’t wait to come back again!

As we had booked all four chalets, the host Dilum kindly provided the use of the villa at the end of drive. This was a significant and wonderful surprise. The villa was very spacious and was over and above our expectations. We enjoyed this space greatly and we were looked after brilliantly by Morgan. The breakfasts were tasty and always on time and more than we could eat everyday. Morgan also joined in with our impromptu cricket matches 🤩🫶 The space was private and luxurious and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone seeking something similar while exploring Dambulla and the surrounding tourist sites. We would definitely go there again 🙌🥰

We loved our two stays at the villa. Beautiful location and we loved watching the fisherman in the lagoon. We were lucky enough to have lizards and otters visit the garden as well as parrots. Saja the housekeeper made both our stays even more special as did the Tuk Tuk driver Adin. The Crab Cove restaurant next door ran by the inspirational Aruna and his beautiful wife was a real treat and we were there three times. We are already thinking ahead to our next stay! Thank you

Sarah’s place was our last stop on a 10-day journey and it was the perfect way to end our holiday, by the beach, in a charming home with plenty of comforts and proximity to all the Negombo restaurants. We stayed for 2 nights and we recommend as a minimum stay to truly appreciate the place, the swimming pool and the beautiful sunsets over the Indian Ocean. The host was very helpful and sent detailed instructions on how to find the place and we also appreciated Nimanthi’s help who was always close by. We recommend this stay and we would be happy to return for another restful beachfront holiday at the Sandcastle.

We really enjoy their it’s more feel like home. Recommend for a longer stay and the ability to cook for yourself. We were very well looked after and had all we needed. We hired a scooter for the week so were able to get about. Lovely place and lovely hosts

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It is a beautiful place in a secluded part of town tucked off the main road on a calm side street. The accommodation is beautiful, the rooms clean and super quiet and the ac works brilliantly. The host is so responsive and quick to reply. There are family and friends who are local and proved so helpful in finding local places as well as being great hosts and entertainers. I’d also strongly suggest getting dinner and breakfast cooked for you if the option is available, you won’t regret it, it was stunning and great value!! It felt so much more than just a place to stay, I feel I’ve had the full ‘Sri Lanka’ treatment that I hear so often about, warm, kind and full of laughter. Spencer home is a great place to stay. It really feels like home away from home. They treat their guest like a family, one call away host everytime I need something his always willing to help. Host was very friendly and helpfull very nice guy. I really reccommend the place. It's all near to everything very accessible place all worth the money and experience. 💯💯💯 Loved this place will surely come back and stay here again.

Frank was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was spacious and located in a peaceful neighbourhood. The care taker and Frank's parents were amiable and helpful. This was a good place to relax for our family of five specially during very warm and humid weather conditions

Very nice place not far from the main road. Appartment was clean, spacious with interesting details. Two rooms with huge beds, big living room with dining table and terrace. Our host was very responsive, waited for our arrival and even woke up very early morning to say goodbye. Outstanding thing i liked the most were ,,jungle sounds'' i enjoyed getting asleep with. I recommend!

I stayed 3 nights at Ishara’s place with my parents and they loved it. If you want to explore around in a peace then this is the place to stay. You can walk to the beaches,nice street food around.If you really want to explore one of the best town in Sri lanka then definitely stay at Ishara’s place and explore the Marawila town.

A great stay in Kandy. About 20 minutes walk from the lake and about 10-15 minutes to the city. Very lovely and nice hosts :) and a super delicious breakfast! For tips in the area, the super nice manager Nimal is on hand and the housekeeper who lives in the house tries to make everything possible to make you feel at home. Thanks very much! Stuti! My husband and I stayed at Jenneifer’s Airbnb for a second time, this time for four nights. We would highly recommend to stay here! It is peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view off of the deck. The highlight for us was the food! We had something different everyday for breakfast that was all delicious. We were also able to request dinner at a small additional fee, which was so convenient after a long day of travel. Jenneifer and her family were incredibly responsive and kind. They had such an amazing attention to detail and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They helped to arrange a tuk tuk for us get around. We hope to stay again!

We stayed for one night at Lucky‘s new „Farm-stay“ house. The listing is not updated yet, but still it was a very pleasant surprise for us. The house ist built on an untouched property/garden and is surrounded by nature. Yes, you should be aware that this is a more nature-near option. In our book a big plus on the total experience. He is finishing the Farm-stay at the moment and is adding sweet details like an outdoor shower. If you like to stay close to nature and don’t mind some insects and frogs then this is the place to stay at. Lucky was really nice and communicated very transparently. He also arranged a flexible pick-up (our train was quite delayed) and drop off in the morning. His wife did cook amazing dinner for a reasonable price even after we asked for it like one hour before. The included breakfast she made was also delicious. Overall they are great hosts and really do their best to make your stay the greatest!

It was a wonderful stay! She is an incredibly sweet hostess who goes 100% for you and thinks along! She took us to the local market, a boat trip and even gave cooking class! Her space is very cool with a beautiful garden, rooftop roof terrace and even a garden in the house. Inside it's like a museum with unique stuff from all over the world! Highly recommended

Geesha Villa was just how it looked in the pictures, and we had a very satisfactory two-week stay here. The host was most helpful and was on hand to help us in a timely manner. Situated halfway down a cul-de-sac, there was very little activity. It was a short (5-minute) walk to the nearest supermarket (SPAR) and a 15-minute walk into Negombo town. A railway ran parallel to the road, but the trains weren't that frequent, and they caused no bother. All in all, it made a great base from which to explore Sri Lanka. Hashitha was a perfect host. Check in was quick and professional, but also personable. My host was in easy reach, if needed, but I was allowed my privacy. The whole experience was brilliantly enhanced, by being able to sit on the veranda and take in the fabulous gardens. All in all an experience to hold fond memories of.

We had a lovely 1 night at Upul’s place. We didn’t want to stay in Kandy as we wanted more peace so found Upul’s place just a bit further south. The house is beautiful and will only continue to get better as they are in the middle of building a roof terrace as well! We loved the minimalist style decor against the beautiful vibrant green views out of the window. Saw lots of lovely birds from the terrace and watched an amazing thunder storm roll in. There a shops and a couple of family style restaurants walking distance but mostly this is a quiet, more remote area if you don’t have your own vehicle. Everything was clean. The address is difficult to find but Upul will come and find you on the road to follow him in. Would recommend !
