Family-friendly vacation rentals in Walworth County

Christine’s place was the perfect get-away for a family vacation close to home. The lake was beautiful and the place was spotless and inviting. It felt like you walked in to your own home. It’s close to places to eat and there is even a community space just a few houses down that is lively if the weather is nice. I’m hoping to come back again!

This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

We booked for 2 weeks and enjoyed each day! Great neighborhood for walking our dog and loads of restaurants nearby to try out. The home was furnished with everything you could need. Sarah was accommodating to meet our needs and we would definitely come back here.

Every year we visit Cypress there are more improves and amenities. Always a great stay and so much to do. Amanda and her team run this place like a well oiled machine. We visit once in the winter and once or twice in the summer. A favorite for sure.

Amanda is the best host I’ve ever had, she is so friendly and responsive. Her kitchen was fully equipped, she gave us the option of having firewood delivered, the place is absolutely beautiful, you walk down some stairs to get to the beach. A group of 8 moms went there for a weekend getaway and it was exactly what we needed. Thank you!

The house was very centrally located and convenient to everything in Lake Geneva. It was a good size for my adult family to stay and we enjoyed the common areas for gathering. The house is old but in a way that we found quirky and charming, and overall clean and functional. There is only one shower but we didn't run out of hot water so it worked out. Parking and entry were very easy. Overall a great find and value if you are okay with an older place and want to prioritize a central location with several private bedrooms.

Another fantastic stay at YurtSimple! I brought my husband here last year to surprise “camp” for his December birthday. We had so much fun I booked again this year. Both stays have been cozy, relaxing and rejuvenating. Our favorite part of this stay was enjoying rain pattering on the yurt while we made mulled wine on the wood fire stove. Wil is a wonderful host and we are excited to be back again!

This place is perfect for big parties. Beautiful and clean location with tons of space for 10+ people. Nice fire pit in the backyard and the host is amazing. There were a few kitchen utensils missing due to the last renters not returning things where they belong and a phone call to the host was made and he delivered brand new utensils within an hour. This place and owner really make you feel at home!

What a truly amazing experience! Our families came from opposite sides of the country to enjoy some amazing racing at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. We don’t get a chance to see each other that often so we wanted a place that we could gather together to relax and enjoy. We arrived from our two day journey from Montana to a beautiful evening and a wonderful sunset. Our friends from South Carolina were already there and the rest of our group followed shortly after. Once we took just a minute to see the house and walk the grounds we knew we picked the perfect spot!!!! Our first two evenings were spent enjoying the grounds, the house, the porch, the view and the beauty!! We hosted several families for dinner and the space was amazing for gathering, eating and fellowship. Tracy and Leif have made the space so user friendly and inviting that we really felt amazingly comfortable!! They have provided every detail you can imagine from s’more packages to basketballs to lots of wood for the fire ring to every local tip you could imagine!!! The combination of a lovely comfortable home and the quaint and beautiful grounds make for a truly wonderful experience. We left wanting out experience to last a few more days, so we knew it was special place. We would highly recommend this experience!!! Andy and crew

Lovely place right on the lake and was decorated for the holidays. We had 3 in our party, and the pull out couch worked fine rather than the top bunk. Electric fireplace made things very cozy. Kitchen was well equipped. Walking distance to a nice restaurant. (Make reservations!) Only downside was the furnace was loud. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

The space, parking availability, and responsiveness makes this a great deal in comparison to options. We made them aware we were baking for a birthday party and they purchased a hand mixer and cupcake pans to have available for us so we didn't have to buy or bring on the plane. It appeared that any disappointments listed in other recent reviews have been corrected. There was plenty of coffee available, regular and decaf, etc. The upstairs was a bit warm compared to the main floor, but we were able to open some windows. That is to be expected in these older houses with one AC unit. Will definitely try to stay here again when needing multiple bedrooms. Thanks Jim!

We enjoyed our stay at the loft, which was very clean, decorated well, and stylish. We especially appreciated that it was dog-friendly and found it clean and without pet odors or fur. It was extremely cold outside during our stay, and it was nice to know our pup could be warm, cozy, and comfortable while we ate at the restaurant below. Paul was responsive, and the house instructions were very clear. We appreciated the small touches, like having plenty of towels, a snack basket, and water in the fridge. We also liked the space heaters that could be moved around the loft to ensure warmth and comfort in different areas of the loft. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are thankful we had a place to accommodate us during our trip. We have it saved in the event we need to return to the area! Meghan, Steve & Nash

Laura’s place was great for us. Spacious one bedroom apartment with a well appointed kitchen, privacy, and great fenced in backyard. Gave us the perfect respite between two days of driving!

Our second time staying! We come yearly to visit family and will be back again next year. Great location, large spacious home, comfy beds, everything you need in the kitchen, a designated playroom/hangout room and clean!

Booked the combining rooms for a girls trip and it worked out amazingly! Plenty of room. Being that the property is on the resort and you are able to utilize the trolleys, restaurants and pools making this the perfect spot!! Everyone shared how relaxing and beautiful the resort is, they all want to go back! Highly recommend booking with Anthony!

This is a great condo in Lake Geneva. It’s about an 8 minute drive from downtown but the location on Lake Como is great. Everything in the condo is exactly like the pictures and everything was clean. I had a great stay and would stay here again!

The place in person looks way better than it does in the photos. Lake side view was beautiful and the short drive to Lake Geneva was very convenient. Regina gave us lots of recommendation for food and activities to do. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great locations and easy to get to everything we wanted to do. We had a few very minor issues that did not affect our stay and she was very responsive to the items we discussed.

We enjoyed having access to the pool when we wanted some quiet time away from busy Lake Geneva downtown. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We enjoyed being a close drive to Lake Geneva to enjoy food and entertainment, but also liked that there were options close to the condo too such as the Mars Resort for food, drinks, and free boat cruise!
