Family-friendly vacation rentals in Waldviertel

Our group had a wonderful stay at Gillaus. The house was beautiful, clean, and well equipped with anything you may need. The sauna + pool on the porch, the fire pit, and lofted movie room were lovely additions that our group really enjoyed using. There are also several walking trails around the property that make for a nice morning/afternoon excursion. I would recommend getting the farm fresh eggs - they were absolutely delicious! Thank you Gillausklause for an amazing stay! We hope to return again!

Paul is great Guy, and really helpfull for all thinks. Location is wonderfull, walking distance of central town and grocery. We have done barbeque every day in a lovely garden where birds are singing.

The place was amazing. The location is very secluded and therefore very quiet. You are immersed in nature and have no neighborhood. The property is ideal for groups. The ambiance is also very nice - a pretty mixture of old and modern. The amenities are very good all around. We especially liked the sauna, the hot tub and the versatile barn. We highly recommend it and will be happy to come back.

Suzy's was a wonderful place to relax and Vlada was everso friendly and helpful. Would love to come again.

A beautiful house for the whole family! There were four of us for 10 days over New Year's Eve at Suzy's house. It was just as we had hoped and even more beautiful than the pictures. Plenty of space in the house, great amenities, exceptionally well maintained and perfectly clean. From wonderfully comfortable beds to toys for the children, everything was thought of. Really stylish and cozy. Kitchen complete with everything you need. A very special centerpiece that sweetened our vacation was the care by Vlada: a warm welcome, always there when something was unclear, great recommendations and he brought us the best fish we had in a very long time: from his own lake! The area is also beautiful and there is plenty to do. But we also enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Great place for family reunion, small party or friendly wellness gathering. Only thing we would appreciate would be new firm mattress.

This was a wonderfully peaceful stay with luxurious fittings in a remote place! If you like peace outside the city this is a great place and we felt right at home here after settling in. Love the modern fireplace and well equipped kitchen! Markus was very responsive!!! Would rent from him anytime gladly and know I’m taken care of!

We enjoyed our stay at Klaudia's. Apartment including garden and surroundings were absolutely cozy and very suitable for a family with children. U-Bahn [subway], P&R [park and ride] and tram are easily accessible. The furnishings and amenities of the apartment are tasteful and thoughtful, we lacked nothing. Klaudia is a really very likeable host and we can recommend her and the apartment without hesitation! If we come back to Vienna, we will definitely rent this apartment again!

We stayed in the beautiful house in Hinterbrühl for 4 nights, which is right next to the forest. Perfect for our dog and our daughter thanks to the existing garden. We felt very comfortable, bowls for the dog were ready and there were also toys for the child. The house is well equipped with everything you could ever need in everyday life. Communication with Jeanett and Elisa was smooth and always friendly. We will be happy to come back. 🫶🏼❤️

We left a bag with important documents. The host was very honest and kindly left it on the table in the house for us to p/u. We are very grateful. THANK YOU.

It was really a wonderful stay in an enchanting environment. The castle is a venerable wall, kept alive by the charming hostess Sabine and designed to be a true place of well-being. I would come back any time I want an atmospheric, quiet vacation.

5 minutes from Center of Telč ! Miluše was really kind to me. She drove me to her place the day I arrived and also drove me back to the station the day of departure. Also, she took care by preparing a very nice breakfast. Her place may be old, but it's giving local vibe and very private ! I enjoyed it alot. Definitely recommend the place and Miluše to other !

Everything wonderful!!! Rudolf is quite excellently helpful and supportive if needed, otherwise you can fully enjoy the wonderful private tranquility in the pleasantly spacious living suite, with great views from the salon into the directly adjacent garden with pool. Lots of greenery, wonderful relaxation in excellent villa area, only a few meters to the forest adjacent to Lainzer Tiergarten. And also quick to get to Hietzing with good gastronomy options, organic bakery, organic natural food store and many shops. A warm thank you to Rudolf

We felt very comfortable. It was a nice little cottage in the middle of the forest, very quiet. The house was sufficiently equipped and the pool was great.

We would love to come back, everything was just a good fit , the hostess is very friendly and helpful , and the area is very nice , I can only recommend it
