Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Waldport

We stayed at this property three times during 2024 for a total of ten nights (early spring, late summer, and late fall) and found it to be perfect for our style: we stay in and cook, we walk for miles every day on the beach, and we found solitude (there were very few people around midweek on all three stays). The house is exactly what the hosts say it is, and its location simply cannot be beat. The team at Cape Escape is professional and responsive.

fantastic home with plenty to do both inside and out. Very close to the coast and in walking distance of plenty of shops for all your needs. Quite a fun arcade with a plethora of games and entertainment for all ages. Everything was really clean and welcoming.

One word: location. Sitting out closer tot the ocean than any other house, this one does not disappoint. Can’t wait to stay again

Home again, from another restful week at our favorite vacation rental. Richard is such a gracious host and the peaceful days on the bay are so wonderful.

The Red House is a gem. The house is old but cozy and surrounded by gorgeous coastal views. Food and coffee are within walking distance. The hot tub is a treat on chilly evenings. Morris’s’ hospitality was 2nd to none. So happy my family and we’re able to book it for our coast getaway!

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and Pelican Brewing. Quiet neighborhood also. Highly recommend!

this was an amazing experience. the houses were great and right on the river which has crawdads to catch. it'snot to far from town and the beach. kate was amazing and very communitive.

We had so much fun here! We stayed another family and had plenty of room for games and fun or some quiet when needed. The kids LOVED the arcade and the view from the hot tub was fantastic. Although there are no stairs directly to the beach, a short walk down the hill or around the corner gets you to the ocean!

The "Hemmingway" or Old man by the sea, (#255)was a beautiful condo to stay in. The decor is above and beyond what others tend to furnish thiers with, which is basically yardsale finds. Not so with this one, very nice solid pieces of furniture. The nautical theme was warm and cozy and I felt right at home. The bed was like climbing into my own personal cloud, the sheets were stark white and even smelled good. The condo was all new, new floors, paint (which was nicely done) new appliances with nice dishes even. I did not want to leave , so I stayed in most of my stay and enjoyed each and every moment. In my opinion Lisa and her husband should be hired out to upgrade all the other condos on the Oregon coast. This truly is a step above all the rest!! The walls are a tad thin, you can hear dogs barking and doors shutting. but that is more to do with who is renting the place next door or above you. some people just never consider those around them. thanks, for creating such a lovely place

very nice little spot literally right next to the ocean. The host was very friendly and nice. Nice little kitchen. great spot. we'll stay again!

The bathroom needed a shower scrub. It would have been great to have enough washcloths for our stay. Bed / mattress was great! Love this location! We will be back….again. 🙂

The view was incredible, and the price was unbeatable. I would highly recommend it and definitely plan to stay again!

What a peaceful private place on the ocean. Very clean and fully stocked kitchen. Highly recommend it to others. We will back!
