Cute, cozy lakefront cottage on private lake. Deck with an unobstructed view of the lake. Stunning sunrises, pinewood floors in bedroom/living room/kitchen. Queen size bed in bedroom. Situated on the same lot as owner occupied main house. Quiet, residential area. Near wineries, breweries, hiking. WIFI. No TV. Unfortunately, due to severe pet allergies I am unable to host any kind of animals including emotional support and service dogs and cats of any kind.

Would highly recommend staying here. Will re-book if we return to Lego-Land or surrounding area. Loved that there was everything you need for a home that you don’t bring/pack (hair dryer, silverware, plates, cleaning supplies, spices etc). Quiet area with nice neighbors and really good food places (1-3 min walk away).

Super peaceful and tranquil! We were in town for the Gilmore Girls convention and absolutely loved our stay! Gorgeous surroundings and no noise even though you are right off the road. The creek outside was just beautiful and all the wood touches on the inside gave it that perfect "log cabin" feel. It was super clean and had all the amenities you could need. The wood burning stove was the cherry on top, making late night Netflix binges out of this world.

This place and this host are both AWESOME! A few friends came last year for a weekend reunion and rented just the "Cabin." We liked it so much we came back this year and rented both the Cabin and the Cottage. Now we're all talking annual tradition. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The many ducks, rolling creek, 4 fire pits with different views, it's calm, quiet (save for some light gunfire from a shooting range close enough to hear), and exactly the private getaway we were looking for. The host could not be more hospitable. She makes sure she's available for anything we need while not being in any way obtrusive. She helped us get enough firewood for two whole days of fun with the fire pits, a rare treat for a city boy like me. As far as the Cabin vs Cottage, the Cabin has two separate bedrooms, but the Cottage is the truly stunning little hideaway with a view of the waterfall that even made a cozy place to watch the brief thunderstorm we had this weekend.

Paul is a friendly and attentive host and found it very easy to communicate and coordinate with him. Highlights (for me) was the privacy and the sunrise view. We traveled with our dog and valued the ability to just walk out the door and roam about and explore the property - a good balance of open lawn and wooded trails. We had a very relaxing weekend at the cottage, (finished a book in fact) and would recommend the stay!
