Waterfront vacation rentals in Wailea, Wailea-Makena

Pele's penthouse was a nice place to stay for a family vacation. It's located at the Menehune shores in Kihei. It's centrally located between the airport and Lahaina. There were plenty of great food trucks and restaurants nearby. The condo was clean and had a nice ocean view. The only negative (which we were fully aware of before booking) was the loud street noise since this was the end unit closest to the street. Fortunately my kids are good sleeper and they weren't affected and I used ear plugs. I highly recommend this place!!

This was a wonderful condo! It is centrally located so we were able to pop all over the island! The view on the lanai was beautiful. The condo looked just like the pictures. We truly enjoyed every moment of our trip to Maui!

My family had an amazing stay at Mei & Iris’. The location is extremely convenient to go back and forth to the beach. We were able to take breaks in between and easily catch the sunset on multiple occasions. Everything is so close. I’d say it is the perfect central location getting to many different attractions. We drove up to the summit and shopped at nearby places. The ABC store was really all we needed to get some warm meals, but we did try the hosts recommendations and they were very good! As for the vacation home itself, it was clean and inviting. We appreciated the provided supplies: laundry tabs and shampoo. I didn’t have to dig through our luggage to get my kids accommodated. It didn’t take much to settle in because so many conveniences were provided. My family truly felt home away from home. Sitting around the pavillion and pool watching all the birds and lizards was such a delight. Both beds also gave us pretty great sleep following days of fun and adventures. Thank you

Louise went WAY above and beyond to help us out and expected nothing in return. Old fashioned hospitality you rarely encounter nowadays. The apartment was spacious and has everything you need. The complex is immaculately kept, staff is nice, pool is heated and hot tub was great for kids, walk on right onto the beach with stretched calm sandy coastline to explore in either direction. Tennis courts often available and can’t hear ball noise. The view from the balcony is worth the price of admission. We enjoyed a sunset dinner every night and the large balcony faces in the direction of the mountains and avoids direct sunlight all day long. Would definitely come back. Thank you!

Indeed the view from Brooke's place is absolutely lovely. The rest of the place is quite nice & functional. I appreciate the pleasant style which is not overboard Hawaiian tourist style.

Beautiful condo in Kihei with every possible amenity to make you feel right at home. Private and peaceful with a pool, beach access. Perfect for getting around to snorkeling which was nearby. Access to stores too. Great place from which to visit Haleakala as well!

This place is 10/10 worth it. The place is literally just like the pictures and close to SO much. Walking distance - grocery store, coffee shop, gym, some restaurants, etc. a mile Down the road is a food truck park for awesome poke bowls, açaí bowls, etc. Turtles out on the beach every night too! Roosters for your morning alarm :) they’re oddly very charming! I’d recommend this place to anyone. Phenomenal location, super safe, and Doug is so responsive and helpful.

This listing had everything you needed. Hosts were great! Very responsive and accommodating. The bed is super comfortable. The walls are thin so you can hear some noisy neighbors and laundry machines running, but besides that, the stay was great. Would book again in the future.

Our family trip to Hawaii with our toddler was greatly enhanced by staying at this accommodation. The host, Don, provided exceptional hospitality throughout our visit. The property itself boasts stunning vistas and excellent facilities, making it an ideal choice for our needs. Don's flexibility was particularly appreciated when he generously allowed us a later check-out time to accommodate our delayed incoming flight. Overall, this venue proved to be an excellent fit for our family vacation.

Great property and location- the lanai has a wonderful view of the ocean- there is a snorkel spot right at the edge of the property- saw fish and several turtles- and a very nice beach was adjacent to the property. The unit washer and dryer were very handy. The kitchen was well stocked. There are restaurants and other shopping across the street. My only real criticism is the unit could use some updating- the carpeting in the bedrooms is very worn/dirty looking….

What an amazing place to stay. It is conveniently located between all of Maui and it is steps away from the beach. The condo itself is beautifully upgraded and we felt right at home. We will definitely be coming back to stay here - this condo is perfection!

We loved staying here! You can’t beat the location, walking distance to a great beach. The condo itself was pristine clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail. For example, they not only provided a pack and play, but also sheets for it (I always bring my own because no one ever does!). Not to mention beach chairs, a cooler, umbrella and toys! It was a little hot when we first got there but once we turned the a/c units on it remained comfortable the rest of our stay. We had one issue with a light that they were quick to resolve. 10/10 recommend and if we make it back to Maui we would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay. The unit was in an amazing setting and location with beautiful ocean views and privacy. The resort has access to miles of pristine and uncrowded beach. The unit comfortable, very well equipped with everything we needed, and the hosts were friendly and communicative.

We booked this unit for family members while we stayed in another unit; they loved Sugar Beach! Really nice unit, clean, comfortable, quiet, well-stocked, with a fantastic view and easy access to the beautiful beach for swimming & lounging. We enjoyed gathering with them for sunsets in this unit as there was seating and table space for four on the lanai without having to move chairs from inside.

Thomas was great to work with. He was very responsive to messages. You won’t find a better view than this!!! It is literally beach front! We left the shutters open at night and listened to the crashing waves. So beautiful and peaceful! I definitely recommend this place! We hope to return soon!!

Vip's air bnb felt just at home, we stayed for a week and had everything we needed. we are very glad that they had lots of kitchen essentials. the place was very clean, nice furniture and nice view of beach. it was close to the town and restaurants and easily accessible. we would respond this air bnb to anyone who is looking to spend good time with family.
