Vacation rentals in Wadsley Bridge

Pamela’s cottage is extremely well located, neat tidy and clean and great value for money. Pamela is very amenable and let us change our booking dates when we caught Covid earlier in the year and couldn’t come. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower powerful. The only downside is the kitchen being on one level and the lounge diner on the other. Pamela makes this very clear though and it was ok for us. Parking outside the door is great but we managed 2 great walks over the weekend without even needing to use the car.

We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our experience at Blakelow farm. The cottage was immaculate and well maintained with every detail thoughtfully considered. A welcome pack of yummy goods on arrival and beautiful bathroom amenities ready on the bed. Andrew was very helpful and responsive at all times, a great host and would recommend anyone to stay here.

This is a perfect place for a group get together. In the heart of Bakewell but also still feels private. Really good kitchen so you can cook breakfast in. The lounge and dining area was perfect size for 10 of us to sit around and have a wholesome night. Pizza place underneath the Airbnb was amazing and the pubs in Bakewell are good traditional pubs

The cottage is beautiful, amazing views from every window and lovely touches throughout - felt really homely with absolutely everything you could possibly need. We used it as a base for a couple of days walking and it was perfectly positioned for that - in an elevated position looking out over Matlock Bath and straight onto numerous trails. Excellent communication from the host and so pleased we chose to stay there.

We had such a lovely stay at Ruth’s place. The little goodies left for us was a really nice touch. The cottage felt very homely and was in a great location. The beds were very comfortable, perfect after all the walking. I would recommend this cottage to others looking to stay in this area.

Was a little hard to find as the GPS coordinates takes you to the wrong location. But Mandy was quick to help when we messaged her. There is beautiful walks and play park for little one nearby.

Superb place for a family get together. Large lounge with plenty of seating and spacious bedrooms meant everyone felt right at home. Views were stunning and so close to Carsington Water. We didn’t explore as much due to Storm Bert but felt cozy at home with the log burner! Pub within staggering distance. Excellent hosts who helped us out with snowy conditions. Definitely would highly recommend and will return !

The cottage was just right. Everything you need. Cosy log burner made evenings in a delight. We are keen walkers and the cottage is situated in the middle of dramatic scenic walks. Thank you again for a wonderful break Dave and Jo

We had a fantastic stay at Mereview. Everything was so gorgeous - the log burner, soap, record player (and range of LPs excellent music taste !), bedding, the welcome pack of biscuits, coffee, milk etc. All these thoughtful touches made the cottage so welcoming and you didn’t want for anything. The location was also great. Close to Chatsworth and Bakewell and lots of walks on the doorstep too. The cottage was pristine too! We will definitely be back!
