It was amazing, private and perfect for couples who want privace and want to be away from reality! Being a Muslim with a wife who covers up, ive always wanted her to let her hair down in a hot tub where no one can watch or interrupt and such but this was perfect Besides the crazy drive and the fact we ran out of hot water at night it was perfect

We had such a wonderful stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and in a very pretty location. We also so appreciated the beautifully thick fluffy towels and good quality bedding (not common in air bnb properties!). Hosts were also on hand to answer any questions and responded v quickly. Thanks so much.

Unfussy, cosy, well equipped cottage in friendly residential village, located in a beautiful part of the world. Short walk to lovely estuary and 5 mins drive to Arnside Village. Spotlessly clean and well looked after. Everything worked as it should. Greeted on arrival by Anne, who was cheerful and helpful. Village shop 10 feet from the back gate! Nearby Milnthorpe and Kendal for other amenities. Would love to go back.

Thank you for the stay - we had a lovely time. Only thing to mention is the heating was a bit tricky (wouldn’t come on at all the second day). Otherwise, stay was lovely and the caravan was spotless and came with everything we needed. No WiFi (as far as I know) and limited phone signal but this is what we were looking for so no issues.

Wonderful stay at Craven Vue. The house is spacious, extremely clean and well stocked. It was a great place to stay with our baby because it had everything we needed, was so comfortable and close to town. Nigel was really accommodating of a last minute booking and check in.

I stayed here for Christmas with a friend and our kids, a beautiful home that felt comfortable from the start. We came prepared with kitchen utensils but this place was fully kitted out for us to be able to comfortably cook a big meal. The bathroom was beautiful, we love the bathtub! We loved every bit of it, only minor drawback was the close by church bells but nothing can be done about that. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A huge 5*cottage with private garden

The Piggeries is a lovely house in a beautiful location. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the layout of the house allows the family to socialise all together but also have the benefit of being able to have one’s own space. Patio and garden are a great advantage particularly when the Lancashire weather plays ball! All in all we had a wonderful stay at The Piggeries and would definitely like to stay here again.

I had the most wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I walked in, it felt like home. The space was cozy, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I could possibly need. Lovely accommodation. Great view. Spotlessly clean. Everything needed was provided for a relaxing stay by the sea. Perfect location. My dog was very happy with the green space and fresh air. Plenty of room. Full size kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

5* all round - the photos don’t do the place justice! It was so homely and cosy and has everything you need for a break away. John couldn’t have been more accommodating, very last minute we asked if we could do a farm tour and he got back to us so quickly to arrange a tour (during the festive holidays!) which was so lovely and really made our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was amazing. Hannah and Brent were super helpful and even after a little blip with the instructions for gaining access (completely unavoidable!!) they were so apologetic and came to introduce themselves in the evening. The Christmas decorations and music playing when we arrived was a fabulous touch and made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble and the lodge had everything we needed and more, for a peaceful stay to unwind before the madness of Christmas at home! We’re already planning on returning this Christmas with family☺️
