Villa vacation rentals in Vouves

We had a really great stay at the villa. If you are vacationing in the south of Crete, you have to know that it is not as touristy as it is in the north. For us, it was exactly what we were looking for. The housekeeper was always on hand with questions and always very friendly and helpful. She had a great tip for a motorboat rental. That was a great day. On the left and right, there is a tavern. Both mega good cuisine and very friendly. We found the tavern Galini a tick better. We arrived with the rental car. It's probably not different either. Best is to enter Taverna Kioni as a destination on Google Maps. This will take you straight to the destination. From Chania Airport we needed 1:45 h. Villa was as described. Location, equipment and care by the housekeeper and Nikos. Everything perfect. We were just able to relax for 10 days. Ideal for families with children. Thank you so much at this point.

Breathtaking views! The house is brand new, it exactly matches the pictures shown. The pool is very large & during the day there is a perfect mix of sunny and shadowed spaces. There are many small tavernas nearby, you never had to drive far. Very clear recommendation for this villa, it is perfect & we would love to come back anytime!

We had a wonderful time at the house. Very relaxing and an ideal place to explore the surrounding area. Upon arrival, we were very warmly welcomed and we lacked nothing. There was also something to nibble and drink. The sea is just a stone's throw away. Shopping on foot, visiting restaurant and it even has a bus stop. In other words, you could also travel without a rental car. Ideal for travelers wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Great Many thanks to Hannah and the homeowner.

We spent 10 nights at Joanna villa as a family of four, including two teenagers and had a great time. The villa was perfect for us, both indoors and out. We spent a lot of time around the pool and cooked on the bbq frequently which met all our needs. The hosts Alexandra and Leftaris are wonderful and it’s very apparent that they love what they do and are very good at it. They were readily available for anything we needed including local recommendations whilst being invisible, affording us privacy. They are generous, friendly and kind making us feel at home straight away. Leftaris is a skipper and provided us with lots of expert and local knowledge when we hired a boat for the afternoon. The nearest beach is within walking distance where we ate out on a couple of evenings with beautiful sunsets. We would highly recommend both the villa and the hosts.

Our stay at Nikos’s villa is one will never forget. What an amazing place. When we return to Crete we will be sure to stay here again. Both Nikos and Valia were great at communicating with us before, during and after our trip. Highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Elias! We had a total of ten people including my parents, and mine and my sister’s family that included four teenagers. The villa and host(s) were super kind and extremely helpful. Our itinerary only allowed us to stay for a few nights and we all hated to leave to go to our next location in Greece. The villa was very spacious and clean with multiple hangout spots inside and outside to enjoy meals together or playing cards while taking in the beautiful sunsets. Everyone enjoyed the large pool and soaking up the sunshine on the patio. Restaurants, markets, and beaches were only a few minute drive from the villa and super easy to get to with a car. The views in the backyard looking over the sea were amazing! Amenities included a clothes washer, very well appointed kitchen, and comfy beds in the bedrooms and places to relax in the family room. I would definitely recommend Villa Elias and can’t wait to get back there soon!!

A beautiful villa with an incredible view, the photos don’t do it justice. Around 8pm the sun sets perfectly over the back of the villa. The facilities were great and the villa is so well equipped. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much

We had a wonderful time at the villa, there was a warm and personal welcome, lots of helpful tips for the area, great amenities and good service with cleaning the outdoor area and pool. We had a great time as a group of 7 people and would love to come back anytime!

Exceptional stay, George was able to satisfy all our needs. A remarkable view that you don't get tired of. Not to mention the touching and delicate touches, this stay was perfect from start to finish.

Very friendly owners who warmly welcomed us and offered a bottle of a local alcohol. The son George is also very responsive. We happen to encounter an electrical issue, the father came in no time to fix it. The villa is wonderful (just as the pictures). Can only recommend.

Esther was an incredible host who was extremely responsive and kind. The villa was absolutely gorgeous and extremely spacious. It was also very secluded which was very nice. Would 100% recommend.

Great family villa. The villa was spacious and clean. The host was great in organising our car rental and also providing information about the area and suggestions on activities/dinners. The villa was located about a 10 min drive from the old town which was ideal. Would definitely recommend this villa and we will be looking to book again!

The villa is a most beautiful place for a relaxed family vacation. Quiet, spacious and with all the amenities for a relaxed stay. The next town is nearby, only a few minutes away by car. The local support is excellent, very friendly, very responsive and alert. All in all, a very recommendable place.

This is a great airbnb! Very unique house in a great area. Everything worked great, internet, washing machine, kitchen, all excellent.

The villa was fantastic and communication with Giorgos was great as he responded very quickly on the couple of times we reached out to him. It's a lovely spacious place and we would definitely consider returning again.

This house was unbelievable! The location was gorgeous and perfect. It felt private but also accessible and we LOVED the little town. The amenities and entire home were a dream and made our vacation perfect. The only thing better was STAVROS the host! He was AMAZING! Left us treats, helped us multiple times with recommendations, and even brought us freshly pressed oil! We definitely hope to be back!

What a beautiful gem of a home. The home was spotless, the views are even better in person, the backyard is huge and beautiful. Effie helped us with the check in process, she’s wonderful and gave us great local recommendations. The place was easy to get to and parking was easy. I recommend this place 10/10.

Nikos and Joanna were the perfect hosts for the perfect Airbnb. Their villa was private, beautiful, truly amazing view, fantastic amenities, perfect for big family or friend group, and the pair were amazing hosts, walking us through the house, discussing the island, and even ordering us food the first day. Crete and Chania were breathtakingly beautiful, especially the views from the villa and the Samaria Gorge hike. 11/10, will be going back!

Alex was an amazing host right from booking. He’s super friendly & reply’s quickly to any questions. We had the warmest welcome on check in & the property is beautiful, with gorgeous & peaceful surroundings. You have all the utensils & cutlery you need for cooking, Alex was always on hand if we needed any help with anything. I will 100% be going back & it’s not something I often do so that says a lot about Alex & his property. Highly highly recommend this place.

Great stay at quiet villa I a quiet village (just us, the goats, chickens and cockrels and occasional horse) with fantastic views of the mountains. Good supply of kitchen equipment. We were very grateful for the wine, cake, fruit water and cheese on arrival. Although we did not organise any extracurricular activities with them, the managing company was proactive and responsive, polite and helpful. A car is a must to get around the island easily at your own pace and timetable. We visited beaches, caves, monestries and botanical gardens and ate at lovely restaurants as well as cooking at the Villa. If you like outdoor cooking and are a larger group (we were just two) there is a spacious outdoor kitchen including grill, and pizza/bread oven and sink all under a shading Olive tree at the back if the vila. Fully recommend a stay at the Villa and in Crete
