We love the house 🏠 clean decoration beach team. We loved the fire pits for roasting s’mores the kids love the corn hold game. Lots of trees private. The views from the deck on the lake was calming. Definitely would stay again. Host was very good responsive and friendly.

This house is the perfect hideaway! Surrounded by woods, we went to bed and woke up for the sounds of nature. This remote cabin was very comfortable and worked well for our family and our friends, both with kids under seven. While the house is tucked away, it is not hard to get to places, if you are willing to drive a little for hiking and more to do. We appreciated the quiet, filled up with nature vitamin and was upset we dis not have time to explore the close by riverside. Daniel and Meg are extremely responsive. They communicated promptly and got back on questions and concerns even in the middle of the night. Is you are looking for a cabin deep in the woods with all the comfort, this is your place!

We had an incredible experience at this beautiful home! The view was absolutely breathtaking, making it the perfect backdrop for our stay. The kids had a blast with the karaoke machine, while the adults loved relaxing and watching the sunset around the fire pit. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Rachel’s place was one of the reasons why our spring break was so amazing this year. As soon as you enter the house you notice the cozy beach vibe theme. The house is nicely organized and put together. The game room was a fun addition as well. The backyard is well kept with the beautiful green grass cut and edged. The gazebo area has a fire pit and hot tub. Let me tell you… such an amazing vibe in the back yard. We had so much fun listening to music and making smores all night! They thought of everything here! There’s an actual sauna in the master bedroom. I was bummed because we forgot our wireless speaker at home, but guess what… they have one available for you to use and fully charged! Let’s talk about the furniture. They actually put money into the furniture here. The couch was huge and cozy. The beds were not stiff at all. In fact my kids bragged about how comfortable their bed was and how they couldn’t wait to hit the hay that night! This place is worth every penny.

The Co-host Amy was very proactive, responded quickly and helped to make sure we had a great stay! The house is super nice, the bedrooms were huge, besides the bunk room- it is a tiny space. We had 13 adults but still made it work! Due to the bears and laws, there is no outside trash cans but the dumpster was just up the road. The house had everything we needed from cleaning supplies, to coffee bar. I loved that there was a gas station, market and a few food options inside of the neighborhood/resort. I would recommend this house for a large group getaway! We didn’t have the weather we expected but the views were amazing. Thanks Chris and Amy!

Everything is exactly as described!! When you walk it you automatically feel this was a great place to be! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, just beautiful! The handbook had instructions for everything you could possibly have a question about as well as the labels around the home to help as well! The sauna with the blue tooth was so soothing and easy to use ! Plenty of linens and extra blankets if needed . Beds and couches were comfortable! The bathrooms were spotless and welcoming as well! There was a personalized note and goodies on the front table that makes you smile when you arrive! We enjoyed our stay and planning to be right back once the pool is open!

We stayed here for a long girls weekend and Logan's home is absolutely beautiful. So much space… So many places to be together and to take a break if you need some quiet. The property is gorgeous the home is gorgeous and beautifully furnished. We absolutely had a wonderful time! Logan was so responsive to my messages when we first arrived and got the help we needed asap. Highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hemlock Haven. I am very picky about cleanliness and this property was pristine. The home was stocked with everything we needed and more! From the bathroom essentials to cleaning supplies and coffee and kitchen items - we were impressed! The home is absolutely gorgeous, as are the views. The furniture is all high quality and in good repair. The gym and sauna were the highlights for me! As a daily exerciser, it was so nice to have a treadmill, cable + Smith machine and accessories. The sauna was easy to use and so amazing! Our other highlight was the kitchen - wonderful appliances and cookware for a rental! We were spoiled. We visited the Shenandoah River State Park - specifically Overlook Trail - the views were excellent and would recommend that for an easy, quick hike by the river. I would absolutely book Hemlock Haven again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

What a beautiful house for our family get together! Great place for adults and children. The adults enjoyed the spa amenities while the kiddos loved the ping pong table, games! And firepit. Quick walk to docks in the neighborhood and the kids enjoyed some fishing! Lindsay and Craig were wonderful- super responsive and attentive! Would strongly recommend this place!

Wow...beautiful place that feels brand new. There is something here for everyone here. Mu husband and I quickly got into the sauna/hot tub. Teen son was shooting hoops downstairs while our younger daughter played the taylor swift records and board games. We all checked out the massage chair in the book nook and enjoyed the decks and outdoor spaces. The house is beautifully appointed-whoever decorated has great taste.
