Really enjoyed the hostel and would stay again. It was focused around the surfing in the morning which was great, Marco is a great teacher and you get plenty of time on the waves. Raquel is a lovely host and the food is excellent, there's a bit of a lack of local things to do and places to eat within walking distance but the nearest city isn't too far if you want to explore in the afternoons/evenings. Would totally reccomend the hostel to anyone wanting to learn how to surf, many thanks : )

We decided last minute to make a weekend getaway with family. And we loved finding Pedro's house. The very quiet neighborhood in the middle of a lot of nature, it was just what we needed. With a large and well-kept garden, they have 2 swings that so far my nephew talks about them. The best thing was the fireplace on. The 2 nights we stayed lit the Chimenea and left us enough firewood to keep it. Thank you very much TO Pedro, Manoela and José for their attention and affection. We will be back for sure

Casas da Li/double room with breakfast

Casas da Li is a very cozy space, in a mountain village, at 500m altitude and so with fabulous views. Of course, the road is difficult by the curves, but with a good pavement. It's worth it for the contact with nature and the unique views. The facilities are very good, as are the breakfast. It was a good experience.

Great stay!! The accommodation has a large parking lot in order to park easily, Albertina was warm and welcoming as soon as we arrived, the place is new and perfectly clean. The village is a little out of the way (allow 30min drive to the nearest supermarket), but has a great restaurant that we recommend (Taberna do Caskais, affordable prices, quality at the rendezvous and great service!)

The room was spacious and spotless, the place is nice and quiet and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the pool anymore because it was quite cool. I would recommend it to families with little ones who want to hike around the area, which is very beautiful.

We had a fabulous stay Carlos's place in Gères. Carlos was very friendly and gavecus lots of tips about where to go. All the staff were also very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great, with a great variety of guests, from young to old. We loved that. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of variety and choice. We walked away each morning with very full bellies. Highly recommend a stay at Carlos's place.
