Apartment vacation rentals in Vila Nova de Gaia

We got the place for one month. The apartment had all the basics covered. Comfortable bed, modern functional bathroom and kitchen. Everything was clean and functional. Curtains blocked off the light( for those sensitive to it) and windows blocked most of the noise ( but the street is quiet even though it is close to the park and restaurants). Having washer and dryer in the building is very convenient. The apartment is on the fourth floor so not for people with limited mobility but allows for the beautiful view of the river and sunlight. We had everything we needed inside the apartment. Location is convenient. 15 min to the São bento station, little Spar grocery store up the street is very convenient to get eggs, bread and pizza. Uber eats works great in Portugal and so is Uber. Mafalda (manager) was responsive to our requests and always answered within couple hours. We got change of sheets and towels every week. I recommend this apartment.

Great place to stay clean and stocked with everything you need. Particularly useful is the possibility of parking the car in a closed garage a few meters away at no additional cost. In a few minutes on foot you can reach the center of Porto. Absolutely recommended.

Great apartment! Exactly as described, loved the private terrace with amazing views overlooking the river and quintessential Porto rooftops. A really nice spot to start your day with coffee/bkfst out on this outside oasis. Very clean, modern decor with a comfy bed, strong shower and well equipped kitchen. Easy stroll to the famous Ribiera waterfront. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! It has a great work from home set up, speedy internet and high quality screens. The house had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It has a lovely private courtyard with amazing views to the River Douro. We go to Porto every year and this is the best place by far. We will be back!

We are delighted with our stay! We were looking for a quiet place but close to the center and the apartment is perfect for that. The quality bedding also allowed us to recover well after long days of walking. In addition, we were hosted very well by a young girl who gave us a visit of the apartment and answered our questions. I don't see any flaws in this stay (maybe some might be disappointed by the fact that there are no windows opening, or curtains that hide the light in the bedroom of the 2 little beds, but we didn't mind) I highly recommend this place

My wife, our daughter and I had a great time in this apartment. We had enough space, a great kitchen and everything we needed to feel comfortable in Porto. It was only a 15 minute walk to the city. The accommodation was also absolutely suitable for relaxing days. The communication and handling with Vasco went wonderfully. He greeted and said goodbye to us more than polite and courteous. We had the feeling of being well cared for and welcome at all times. Definitely recommended 👍🏼 Thank you for the wonderful time we would be happy to come back.

The flat was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. There was a blow dryer, iron, and coffee maker, which were wonderful additions. The space is very light and airy. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was lively, but quiet, we had no problem sleeping at night even during the weekends when people were out. It is very close to wonderful restaurants and things to do. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Porto.

Everything was as described. I arrived late at night but it was easy to check in. That was a great relief. The communication was fluid, the small apartment as "new" and furnished with love. The mini garden with apple tree and seating brought peace of mind. Thank you, Claudia

Great location, on a strip that comes alive when the sun goes down. Great washing and dryer facilities, large kitchen and everything was spotless! If you are a light sleeper this stay is not for you, the clubs underneath are open until 6am and it is almost impossible to drown them out if you are in the front room. However if you have good earplugs and sleep well then it shouldn’t be a problem.

This is a beautiful apartment with beautiful views. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. There are many restaurants nearby. I would enjoy living in this apartment.

I hadn’t researched the area well when I booked this home and didn’t realize that we’d be on the other side of the river from Porto. I’m so glad that I didn’t know as I might not have booked and we were thrilled with the location and the home. Being on the river was like watching a movie at all hours of the day and night. We loved the walks across the bridge to Porto and enjoyed the riverside restaurants and activities on both sides. The apartment is quiet and has very comfortable beds which is more important the older we get. There are stairs with the apartment on three levels. We enjoyed our brief times on the terrace and would have spent more time there in better weather. Isa responded quickly when we had a challenge with the washing machine and it was fixed the next day. She also showed me how to use the coffee machine, which produces fabulous coffee. It wasn’t difficult but I needed help. The place has everything needed for a great visit and we highly recommend it.

This was the perfect spot for us in Porto! The building is very secure - and quiet! Jessica made it very easy to check in - get in the building and apartment. The apartment was a great amount of space for the 2 of us - especially having 2 bathrooms :). The balconies were wonderful to enjoy in the morning and evening - there's one on each side of the apartment. The neighborhood is mostly quiet - minus some local birds. I also utilized the laundry machines which was very straightforward. Overall, it was a great stay and we would rebook! Thanks!

This location is not only unique for this area - easy access to everything, Port Cellars, Resto’s, bridge, river sightseeing but provides one of the most stunning and picturesque views of Porto - right from the front room with floor to ceiling windows. It’s a spectacular view, especially in the evening yet provides a peaceful and restful location to recoup after a day out. Great zone for day or evening walks right along the Douro with a dedicated river walkway. You won’t be disappointed!!

We had a great stay in Porto. Very nice flat with beautiful views. Large rooms and two bathrooms. Unfortunately we weren't lucky with the weather so spent our days in the centre, easy and cheap access by taxi. Food shop is 15 minutes walk from the flat, there is large selection of everything including fresh fish. I definitely recommend this flat and hope to be back.

Lovely and available host. Ideally located near Casa de musica and therefore very well connected by transport. Bedding of 2m x 2m extremely appreciated. Very nice decor. In a charming old building so necessarily not very well softening. Very well maintained common areas. Thank you very much

Walking distance to everything we needed and closer than we thought we would be. Very clean, private and staff were welcoming. We frequently used the games room and the pool. Also there’s an elevator for brining luggage upstairs which is great. Overall, great place and would stay again.

A beautiful Villa with a nice pool and barbecue outside we all love it we are definitely coming back again. Highly recommended.
