We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful, open yet private place. It’s the perfect getaway if you’re looking for peace, nature, and a bit of luxury. The surroundings are incredibly calm and beautiful, a true escape from the noise of everyday life. One of the highlights was the little squirrel who visited us every day. We even gave him a name: Kaspery. The house itself is beautifully designed, with two saunas and direct access to the lake, ideal for a refreshing dip after a sauna session. There were plenty of towels provided. The bedrooms were lovely, with enough closet space and comfortable beds. The living area featured a nice fireplace, making the evenings extra cozy. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything you could need to cook, including sharp knives, a coffee maker, and all essential utensils.A special thanks to Markus, who was an outstanding host. He always responded quickly and friendly to any question. He even let us know when the polar lights were visible.

The visit for a few nights went on 10/10 in Vääksy. The stay was just what the brochure promised, if not a touch better. Sauna, hot tub, etc. I highly recommend this home. I could imagine that in the summer, a couple of nights in this place might even be too short a visit.

Had a great time! The cottage itself was very cozy and perfect for spending a few quiet days through the fireplace, sauna, well-equipped kitchen and nice TV. The immediate vicinity was beautiful, especially with nice weather. Shops were easily accessible by car. Host was friendly and quick to respond. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful house, regularly used the sauna and bathed in ice in the frozen lake. For us, the place was perfect.

A perfect stay for a relaxing weekend, the host was very responsive and greeted us when we came. the place matched the description, and the lake view was beautiful, even when the ice was still on.

Our stay at Villa Rapakivi was excellent! We enjoyed it soooo much! Our hosts, Eduardo and Sanna, welcomed us warmly and treated us wonderfully. We felt like family from the second we arrived. We enjoyed delicious homemade authentic Italian pasta from Eduardo, and had great and interesting conversations in the evening. During the day we went Ice measuring on the frozen lake, next time we’re definitely gonna fish and catch dinner. The house is in a beautiful location right by the lake, complete with a sauna and everything you could wish for. It was also very clean and well-maintained. It was so quiet and we slept so well, that were missing it already. Thanks for the amazing days and we say, see you soon again! Nooa&Mailo

Beautiful house in a very quiet neighborhood. The house is quite large with large living room area, large kitchen, large bathroom with sauna and jacuzzi tub. There is also an infrared sauna in a separate room. The side entrance opens to a mud room with laundry and lots of room for bags and coats. Note that stairs to the loft are ship stairs. It's in the listing but important to realize that the house does not have wifi - Somehow I missed it.
