We recently held our annual family birthday weekend at Natalia's place with a multi-generational crew that spanned 1.5 years to 90 years young! This incredible log cabin met all of our needs. The bedroom on the main floor meant an accessible space for our great aunt, the games room in the basement was such a fun space for our teens. The sliding doors to the wide front porch and the giant yard with fire pit, play structures and trampoline gave us lots of space to play. Plenty of fridge and freezer space and bathrooms on every level was really helpful. Natalia was very responsive and kind as a host. Balm Beach is gorgeous and walkable. There are some really cute restaurants and coffee shops close by (shout out Cawaja General Store and Balm Beach Bar & Smokehouse!) No place is perfect - I note the stairs to the basement are rather steep, and a few suggestions were shared with our awesome host, including about kitchen amenities, but this is a pretty spectacular place to stay for a group.

Thank you Avisa for hosting us. Our family came over to visit from Ireland and we had an amazing stay at the cottage. It was beautiful, looked exactly like the photos. The family really enjoyed it. It was very spacious and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided and the kitchen is well equipped to cook up a meal. The games room was huge it kept us all entertained and the hot tub was very relaxing. We really had a great stay and we will be back for sure for another stay. Thank you very much!!

When we walked into Jacqueline's place it was like wow!!! Open concept,bright and loved the decor and the top to floor windows. Jacqueline was very accomadating and very responsive. Would highly recommend her place and we will definitely be back in the future!!! Thanks for being a wonderful host

Franco and his team are lovely to deal with. They are extremely communicative and in a timely manner. The apartment is exactly “like” the pictures shown, warm, cozy and overall a very welcoming home. In addition, to having such a wonderful place to stay in, they have thought of every kitchen tool you may need during your stay, it’s great to have access to all these accessories. Thank you for the great stay, I would definitely recommend your place to anyone staying in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was exactly as described, spacious, and had a ton of amenities. Even in the winter, we could always find things to do at the home, and the location was great as it was in a nice and quiet neighbourhood but also it was easy to access activities in the surrounding areas/mountains/resorts. Also, Curtis was a very responsive and positive host; he was very clear with his instructions and quick to answer any questions we had. Great experience!

We met Patricia upon check-in and she had prepared the place for us in the most welcoming way. The house has such a warm cabin feeling, is super spacious and the surroundings are beautiful. The place has everything families need in terms of spaces, linens, activities, etc… We were lucky enough to enjoy the presence of a deer coming in the garden on our first night and so many other animals. Highly recommend for a quiet stay in nature in a big cottage!

Even if the weather was bone chilling, the place was warm and nice. The complete absence of internet and TV, though an irritant in the beginning, was a blessing as we played a lot of board games and had quality time. The place could do with some upgrade. Mirror in the washroom, better quality coffee mugs, more and better towels. But the location, cabin like feel of the plade and the friendliness of Frank made up for it all Great things to do around, decent restaurants within 15 minutes of the place and scenic beauty ofvthe area were added values. A good place to spend some R&R.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. We booked it for a small get-together with our friends. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. Jerry made sure everything was set up to make our stay comfortable. Although the pool wasn’t open during our visit, it’s definitely something we’re looking forward to next time. For my birthday last weekend, I was looking for a cottage to getaway for work and to celebrate, and I immediately fell in love with this cozy little house when I saw it. It has everything I could ask for to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, just like home. I spent my birthday here, and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The Scandinavian interior style is my absolute favorite, and every detail of the decor and soft furnishings was perfectly chosen. It’s clear that the owner, Lina, put a lot of thought and care into making this space feel like a true home for visitors. Each room was spotless, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Lina is incredibly understanding and accommodating. We all had an amazing time and are so grateful for this experience. Five stars aren’t enough to express how much we enjoyed our stay and how this beautiful house made our birthday weekend so memorable. Highly recommend!

Cozy, cute, clean and comfortable! Very quiet and peaceful surroundings which is just what we needed. Good location, felt private and tucked away but it’s only 15 minutes or so from Orillia if you need more restaurant/coffee shop options. Sharon and Rob were attentive hosts and very friendly. We would stay here again

Amazing little chalet. Great proximity to so many gems located in the Blue Mountains. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Fireplace was cozy and the kitchen was fully stocked...the local coffe was amazing . The extra amenities made us feel right at home. The personalized suggestions for the live bands and comedy shows were greatly appreciated! Was a great unit for ourselves and friends to enjoy! Beautiful mountain views and après-ski vibes. Was a great getaway ! Will be back !!

Unit was exactly as described in listing. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The lay out (upstairs bedrooms) was a great fit for our family. As noted in other reviews, the washer/dryer is a 2 in 1 and we ended up having to hang our laundry to dry (not sure if it was user error or something wrong with machine). All in all, great place for the money. The last minute check-in was much appreciated as well.

Amazing accommodation from start to finish...communication was prompt and clear, check-in process was easy to follow, cleanliness was top notch, amenities had everything you could ask for, and location, location, location. The only minor downside was the size of the shower. Aside from that, literally everything else was fantastic during our weekend getaway. Would return in a heartbeat!

Alexander’s listing is a beautiful cottage. We found it clean inside and ready to use (aside from the hot tub that needed some warming up). Its location is nice and quiet, far enough from the neighbours. Amenities like sauna, hot tub and pool table make it very pleasant to stay. Alexander is very responsive, providing quick help when asked. I would recommend the place and definitely go back.

Andreina was a great host. I booked her place for a guest of ours and she was quick to answer any questions and was really accommodating to our guest who had pets. Her place was in a great location, private but not too far from town. The house was just as the pictures said and kept really clean, she made our guest feel right at home! I would recommend her place and I look forward to working with her again in the future!!
