Apartment vacation rentals in Vatican Hill

Paolo really went above and beyond, taking the time after we had arrived to tell us about some of the lesser known local sites to visit and providing recommendations for restaurants and cafes to visit as well as directions of how to get there from the apartment. He also shared two interactive maps he had created which highlighted tourist spots and dining places we could visit during our stay. He was really helpful in giving us clear, easy to follow directions to the metro and was happy to answer any questions we had. The apartment was lovely - very clean, was exactly as described and it comfortably housed five adults for our three night stay. The apartment was only a short walk from the Colosseum and had a supermarket practically right next door to the building which was super handy. We had a really great time and I would 100% recommend Paolo and his apartment to anyone visiting Rome - you won’t be disappointed!

Their home, nestled on a peaceful hill, provided a serene escape while still being conveniently located with easy access to Rome’s ring road, making it a great base for exploring the city and beyond. The house itself was impeccably equipped with everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable and seamless long stay. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is very nicely decorated and very functional. It is well located (public transport right next to the cottage). The host is very responsive and ensures our comfort. We recommend it +++

very nice stay, roomy apartment with enough beds and baths for our group. Well appointed kitchen. We had a small issue with WiFi but the host took steps immediately to resolve and they did a great job. Location is walkable to a nice area and to the metro , very useful for getting around Rom easily. We would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location, easy access on foot and public transport. Some nice pizza places and a gelateria nearby. Apartment was perfect for 4 x couples. Plenty of space and all rooms en suite was perfect. Building has so much character. Would recommend.

Great location, easy to walk everywhere. Very lively neighborhood at night without being noisy in the apartment itself since the apt is down a smaller side road. 15 mins to Vatican and 20 mins to Forum. Clean space with room to spread out.

We loved staying in this apartment. We had 6 adults and were very comfortable. Each couple had own bedroom and bathroom which was so nice. This place is right next door to a supermarket, which I felt the prices were cheaper than others. Apartment is also right next to cafe’s, gelato cafe, souvenir shops, and leather shops. About a half a block down from the apartment is a main road where you will find stores and restaurants galore. It was all so convenient. The apartment is fairly close to tourist sites. It usually took us about 10-15 minutes to get down to Trevi fountain or the main tourist areas. Although it is close you still do ALOT of walking to see all the spots. My only suggestion for this place would be to add another couch for more comfortable seating. After a long day, when you returned to apartment and wanted to sit around and visit you had to sit on kitchen chairs. Another thing that would have been nice is a little binder with dining spots that are good to eat at.

We loved our stay with Elena. She made a point to greet us and see us off. She made great recommendations for food and activities and treated us with the utmost kindness. If we ever return to Rome, we will be back. Highly recommended.

Our family had a fantastic 4 days exploring Rome! Francesca made us feel right at home and provided excellent restaurant recommendations, including an amazing rooftop bar for sunset. Proximity to Vatican City helped make the most of our time. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were large (especially for Rome) and well appointed. We did not use the kitchen, but it seemed to have all you need to make your meals at home. Good access to transportation too. A lovely short stay in the eternal city. Thank you Francesca!

Maria was great with communication from booking to staying there. The place is around a 8-10 minute walk to the Olimpico Stadium if you're planning to stay for a Roma game. Great Italian pizza place just around the corner. Place was conveniently places in the building with private parking immediately outside.

This was a perfect spot in Trastevere, walking distance to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican City, not to mention the tons of restaurants and charming cobblestone streets of Trastevere itself. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, and has everything you need for a long stay. The building is secure and the staff friendly and helpful. We had one minor issue that Miguel fixed for us the same day, and had no other issues during our stay. Don’t miss the giant market outside your door every Sunday!

Thanks to Paola for being an amazing host. We were picked up and dropped off from Rome Termini station. The apartment was beautiful, well stocked with supplies and very clean. The area is very quiet so it’s perfect for a good night’s sleep. Walking distance to Colosseum and to centre of Rome. Lots of lovely authentic Italian restaurants nearby. One of the best spots I've stayed at, with an amazing host. PERFECT location, easy to get to all the attractions via walk or metro, and even Ubers/cabs were easy and pretty cheap. Great street with great food options. The host was also available, friendly, super helpful and responsive.

Simply lovely! The location is perfect: close to everything with easy access to buses and away from most tourists. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, stylish, and has everything you need plus more. The jacuzzi tub is a lifesaver after all the exploring. We were so thankful for this place and highly recommend it!

The apartment was beautiful and in a very good location. It was convenient to everything. The host was very responsive. We had several flight delays and arrived 10 hours after expected. The driver was a bit confused but Daniel met us within 2 minutes at the door to take us in and get us settled. Wonderful after such a long travel day.

The house flat is very well appointed and has a lovely outdoor space (tables, couch, tv). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is a very modern space, and well decorated. However, there are small signs older infrastructure (there was a mildew smell in the primary bathroom that carried through the room). This might be common in the center of Rome and the older plumbing. The appointments made by the owner made this space perfect for what we needed.

Everything perfect, very clean accommodation and equipped with everything you need, kind and collaborative hosts. It is easy to get around by public transport to and from the center of Rome, quiet neighborhood, great experience.

The apartment was clean with all the required amenities available. Mariastella and Camila were great hosts and were super helpful with providing all the required information.
