This place is called ‘forest escape’ and it is exactly that: a beautiful and modern cabin in the middle of the woods. Handmade by the very friendly owners. There is a large home around 30 meters from the cabin, where you can cook and sit, have a hot shower or watch tv. There is also a really good coffee machine with free coffee the whole day! The cabin is private with a view on the woods, and there is a fire place outside and even an outdoor shower. The interior is so nicely decorated with sheep skin and a fireplace, really fits this place. In the main house is a mini shop so you can even take some handmade wooden souvenirs home. Maria, the host, gave us good tips to go and see in the area and she can be reached when you have questions or wishes. Dogs are welcome but not in the service house, in consideration of other guests. We’ve experienced that dogs aren’t allowed in shops or cafes in Torsby. Källberg Forest Escape is a fantastic place for nature lovers! 🌲

Idyllic, beautiful cabin with lots of space both inside and outside for our big family. There was both clean and a homey feeling with the possibility of borrowing board games when it rained and canoeing and rowboat when the weather was better. Highly recommended.

It was a lovely and cozy place with stunning views. The cabin was so clean, and the communication with the owner was excellent.

We spent 2 nights with a group of 12 in the house. We really liked the location in the middle of the woods & the hot tub/sauna! the house has a big kitchen and dining table which is perfect for having dinner with a large group. Sadly the house was not perfectly cleaned when we arrived with dirty dishes in the dish washer, a dirty sink & dirty glass panel on the gallery. But nevertheless, we had a really great time here! I would come back.

A lovely place to stay - so quiet and tranquil. It was a beautiful setting. The lake was wonderful for a summer swim. We used the hot tub twice and it was incredibly relaxing. Grace was always quick to respond to any questions and happy to show us how to fire up the hot tub. My children enjoyed feeding the chickens and playing with the two dogs (very well behaved and great with my children who are not used to being around dogs). There was a lovely welcome basket when we arrived as a surprise extra. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this place as somewhere to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Wow, just wow! Came to Norway as three Americans looking for a homey private winter experience and we got exactly that. We spent our holiday in this cabin and enjoyed the lake views, the amazing projector screen, and the accessible and well-supplied kitchen. Would 100% stay again!

The property is located on a small hill a few hundred meters from the street, but is still great to reach by car. The apartment is located directly on the lake and the view is really fantastic. Luckily, it snowed during our stay and we had one of the most beautiful views you can imagine. We hiked around the lake one day and otherwise spent a lot of time in the sauna and just enjoyed the time. Nearby, there is a small supermarket where you can find everything you need for a short stay. There is also nothing missing in the accommodation itself, we would come back at any time and can recommend the accommodation to everyone.

A very beautiful hut with a great view. At check-in, the hut is preheated and relaxed music is playing. You immediately feel welcome. Nikola is very friendly and always available.

Super nice place with the sweetest host. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back if we are staying in Oslo.
