Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Van Buren County

This was a very cozy stay, a very clean home and Beautiful land surrounding. This place checked every box for me and my lady. From a comfy bed to a beautiful shower to visits from Koko. I’d recommend this stay to anyone and ensure that you will have peace of mind here, and a very helpful host.

Woods, a small creak, quiet and peaceful best describes this cabin. It was everything we had hoped for. While there , the place was covered. in snow. Made the place magical. Weather was cold 19F but we are from Michigan. Amenities aplenty. BTW, Scott is a great host. Central Heater of the cabin took its own vacation midweek. Scott made good by quickly sending a large electrical heater in addition to the smaller plugin heaters in the bedrooms while he got a repairman to the cabin. Electrical heaters were enough to keep the cabin at "hoodie sweatshirt" temperature for the 2 nights that remained. In the meantime, we enjoyed Spencer, TN and local area parks. Location was perfect to tour the parks and still close enough to Sparta where there is a good choice of restaurants. We would definitely book this place again!!!

The family had a great time at the state park when it wasn't raining. Great hiking for the entire family! When it was raining on our second day, their was plenty to do at the house with the grands. We dryed out by the fireplace after an attempt to go to the state park and it started raining. The rest of the 2nd day was spent playing the many games and activites that were provided. The Christmas tree and decorations were a difinite added plus for us as it was our Christmas time with our son and his family from Nashville. We drove up from Columbia, SC. The hot tub was great after our long hikes at Fall Creek Falls State Park on the first day! With the state park being only minutes away and having 3 grandsons with us ages 3, 4, and 6, it was great not having to put them back in the car for a long ride. There was no, "are we there yet"! We will definetly be back!

We loved our stay at Holly cabin! The surroundings are gorgeous! There were several birds around along with plenty of space to take our dogs outside. Everything we were told would be provided was there. Check-in was a breeze. We will definitely be back. :)

This cottage was as cute as a sweet pea. It was quaint and beautiful. Perfect for a small family or couple. The view out the kitchen over looks a pasture with horses. It was nice to see. The cottage is within an hour of many trails and even caverns. Within 2 miles there are multi trails and waterfalls. It’s perfect for the outdoorsy family! Our kids enjoyed the hot tub as well. It made them super happy! Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the quiet peace this sweet cottage embodies

The house and property are exactly as the pictures posted. The views are beautiful. The house is really fantastic. Adrian was helpful when we had questions. The kitchen has ample room for food prep for a large group...we had our 8 kids with us, and we made all our meals in the house...griddles for pancakes, crock pots for soup, two sinks and two dishwashers. Also, the downstairs kitchen has a full size fridge, so we ordered pickup groceries from Sams and we had plenty of room to keep stuff. The TV's are easy to use, and we did a movie streaming one night, so wifi is excellent. We visited 6 state parks in just one week, so we stayed busy during the day, and had a homey place to gather in the evenings and play games at the dining room table, or the kids loved the games downstairs...table shuffle board and pool, and foosball. The outdoor areas are excellent, and we used them some, but temps were often in the 30's, so we didn't use the porches as much, but what a bonus!

The only thing that was an issue for us was not having TVs in all the rooms or enough outlets (we had a gaggle of children with us). Honestly I'm most disappointed we didn't get to stay longer then the one night to sleep before continuing on our journey. It was a trip getting up to the airbnb with all the twists and turns but it was SO beautiful. All the adults on the trip love house and the land it sat on. Check out was AWESOME (no check list of things to do). House is comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely home, very comfortable with all necessities needed for a family of four. It was decorated for Christmas which was such a pleasant surprise! Doug was so helpful in light of us suspecting we lost something there and went out of his way to give us peace of mind. Highly recommend and would stay again when in the area!!

I didn’t get to see it in person. I booked the trip for my husband who was in town for a wedding. He raved about how beautiful and peaceful it was though. He was already talking about coming back before he even left. I did get to talk to Julia since I booked the trip. She was very kind, helpful, and quick to respond.
