My great-grandfather bought the land to make a small wooden house in which his wife, my great-grandmother, could put her bathing suit in a private place. It was the beginning of the 20th century and people were starting to swim simply for pleasure. He finally decided to build a house and it was the first beach apartment in Puerto de Sóller; then everything was in the countryside and he was able to choose the best views and location of the entire promenade.
