We loved our stay. the house was spacious and decorated beautifully. we received great recommendations to local restaurants. Armando and Andrea are truly helpful and the assistance we received when we had some car challenges was very generous. we would highly recommend staying at their Villa.

The apartment responded to all of our expectations and more. Both Adrian and Lisa were attentive at all times and had very good details. Everything was perfect if I came back by Ayamonte would repeat for sure

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

It was a tranquil escape in the countryside with stunning views. The house was very clean and comfortable.

Ruth's villa is highly recommended for a stay in the Algarve. We stayed there for 8 days and enjoyed the phenomenal view of the coast from the terrace in the morning and evening. Living and dining rooms are very spacious and good. The bedrooms were cozy, beds comfortable. We also liked to use the pool. There are excellent restaurants in the area. It's 30 to 40 mins to the coast. We were lucky with the weather and were able to take beautiful hikes in Monchique and on the coast. And enjoy the magnificent starry sky above the villa in the evening. The contact with Ruth was always pleasant and friendly. Thanks a bunch

Wow, what can I say except what everyone else has - this is truly a 5 star Airbnb and we travel frequently and I don't usually say that! The design, decor, location, thoughtful touches, communication with and recommendations from host, it is perfect in every way! We saw an incredible moon, lots of stars, a beautiful sunrise while lying in bed, had coffee out on the terrace outside the bedroom, lay on the hammock, worked online from the outdoor wooden table, went for a nice walk right off the property into the hills/ valley/ trails that start there, enjoyed the lovely treats the host left us and were very sad to leave this totally unique, incredibly peaceful haven! We only had one night but will be back.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Beautiful sunsets, peaceful sunrises, and fun in the pool. A very special, quirky place. The local recommendations were so helpful, we met kind people everywhere we went, even at the farmers market and the butchers, and the local Portuguese restaurants. We felt very welcome and safe. I loved walking around the grounds and identifying the fruit trees.

The house has all the amenities and much more than those described in the listing. Unfortunately, we caught one of the rainy days, but the lodge did not lose its charm. The peace is unparalleled and the outer area is amazing! We were able to have some meals on the street and it was really delicious. It could not help highlighting the decoration of the house, which mixes modern elements with older ones and makes us feel at home. We had a setback and the landlord was very helpful and helped us quickly. I strongly advise you to visit the bonnet house!
