Vacation rentals in Vale de Vargo

Truly beautiful and peaceful place to be, surrounded by nature. The lake is wonderful with potential to explore by SUP/ canoe or pedalo or just to cool off. I explored by bike- and the terrain is great for a basic mtb or gravel bike with fantastic views throughout. Many lovely walks of course. A charming town (with restaurants) is relatively close by although moreso a bike or drive than walk away. Filipa/Kelly was lovely and so welcoming- we felt at home, and indeed shared a few unforgettable meals together. It really is a magical place- a good tonic for the soul, mind and body.

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

An oasis in the middle of the Sierra de Huelva. He didn't love everything from the morning coffee on the terrace listening to the birds to the sunsets in the pool. The little house next to the pool is a wonder; beautiful, quiet, cozy and really clean. Pep and Patricia are really friendly and have made us feel like our own thing. We look forward to winter to come back. A lot thanks to both of us and the best guardian dog in Huelva (Pipa) 🩵

We instantly loved this property. It has been beautifully designed and was practical yet quirky. All I would say is that the kitchen equipment could be improved with a few more utensils perhaps but otherwise a fantastic place to stay and we would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

The Inês place has a very private concept and little seen on airbnb. Being at Al Sharaz is like being in our house. The place lives and breathes! Very clean, smelling and with all necessary utilities, especially in the kitchen. Interestingly, this weekend was chosen to be a real gastronomic challenge and there was nothing of utensils or small household items that missed us at Inês's house. The decor is groomed and glamorous. The experience was very positive, we will return for sure. What you see in the photos is what you see when you arrive at Al Sharaz.

The house is huge and comfortable. Very spacious rooms, impeccable toilets and kitchen. The very inviting outer space, a beautiful and very relaxing view. Wonderful!

Stunningly beautiful, well equipped and lovingly appointed apartment in the quiet and characterful heart of the old town of Mertola. Wonderfully peaceful. Lots of space and a very kind and helpful host. I could not recommend this place more. An absolute joy.

The stay at the Casita de Domingos was very endearing for me Family and for me, being able to eat in that patio with the usually was a nice experience, pity it was not summer to get wet in the pool. the views of the village, especially at night, beautiful and see the spectacular Sunrise. The only thing is that we were going with an elderly person and the casita is on a very expensive street. No problem with the parking nearby, Domingos left us a wine bottle of the area and some very rich pastas. She was very flexible with check-in time. Thanks Domingos.
