Tamara’s place was absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect for our group. Just far enough outside of town for peace and quiet but an easy walk to the dive shops and restaurants. The reef in front of the house was stunning and those of us who didn’t dive or wanted extra water time snorkeled there. The pool was perfect to chill and read. We only had one little snafu that was attended to immediately and graciously and after voicing our concerns Tamara made sure our trip was even better than we’d expected. They also supplied all the “toys” such as masks, snorkels, fins, books, you could even buy beer or soda from a community fridge. If we ever get back to Utila you can be certain we’d stay at Paradise Regained, it lived up to its name!

We loved staying here! Waking up to the ocean sounds is just something else. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Everything matched the description. HUGE thanks to Tony & Jo who were exceptional hosts. Super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Tamara and the property manager Kevin were very responsive. The house stood out because of its waterfront location and easy access to snorkeling. Wearing water shoes, you can walk right in and easily swim to the awesome coral reef where others are arriving via their dive boats. The bedrooms are air-conditioned. The saltwater pool in back was very enjoyable and kept clean. It was a short and easy walk to the Point restaurant, a great convenience.

We loved our stay at Tamara's place! Chris met us at the ferry to show us how to get to the Airbnb, which we really appreciated! They were also very responsive and available to help with anything we needed! The home is gorgeous and very spacious. Three bedrooms, and each had its own bathroom, which made our stay particularly comfortable! It was obvious that it was very well thought out. Especially with kitchen items. Everything we needed was already right there; a blender, Tupperware, cutting boards, you name it. It is located a bit far from the center of town. Which actually made it a lot more quiet, peaceful and safe. Personally though, I was glad I rented a golf cart for us to get around, as it would have been a long walk otherwise. Highly recommend this home! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We really loved this place. The hosts were incredible! From the moment we got off the plane until the final moments these hosts went above and beyond to be helpful and responsive. The home is beautiful spacious and well equipped . A pool person came over to care for our pool needs, not only did he clean the pool but we think he cleaned our golf carts off after they got dirty while exploring the island. What a pleasant surprise. All around great stay with no complaints.

Great side of town - walking distance to a great beach, really nice yard/beach space with awesome little canals of ocean fish. Cute and quaint. Would recommend.

Life’s a Beach is a great house! We’ve stayed there on two different occasions. It’s a great location and has a lovely deck right on the beach. The rooftop deck is beautiful for sunsets and we love having the outdoor shower as well.

Very nice place to stay, house is a bit awkwardly laid out but Mathew does a good job stating that in the description, so it was expected. Mathew and house caretakers were extremely fast in responses and fixing any issues we had. Only complaint was the interior lighting was super dim, but if your spending that much time inside your house while your on an island like Utila - your doing it wrong.
