We live nearby and stayed at Frank‘s place while we were doing renovations at home. We chose this apartment because of the location - not far from our home snd the kids‘ school. For tourists who prefer not to stay in the city center, this is a very quiet residential area. You would be 5 walking minutes away from the station with regular trains into Zurich city (15 min). A large grocery store is across the street.

This is a lovely home in a idyllic place. The windows were high quality and kept the apartment at a moderate temperature in both heat and colder storms. The couch and mattresses were very comfortable, and the kitchen was sufficiently supplied. The nonstick pans were well cared for, and the laundry machines were easy to use. the outdoor seating area is pleasant as well.

Great private apartment above the lake house restaurant. Wonderful to explore the area (swimming in the lake, restaurants and village center as well as train station within walking distance). Wonderful views & location. Very friendly staff in the restaurant who take care of the loft residents and always reserved us a place in the restaurant. Especially on Saturdays you can hear the Strozzi's restaurant next door, otherwise it's amazingly quiet. We enjoyed it very much and will be happy to come back again. Thank you Mike & Team.

We were looking for a place with a lake view. Vanessa's home exceeded our expectations, because we could look at the lake from our bed! A very peaceful place, with the bus stop only a few steps away. We can only recommend, and Vanessa is a wonderful host - a lovely welcome gift greeted us.

The location, the well-kept garden with seating, the direct lake access, the conservatory with cheminee, the kitchen, the sauna with shower, the toilets are GREAT!!! The bedroom and the living room are small, but comfortable. What didn't work: hot tub and TV. But it wasn't a big deal for us. We had a sensational time and would be happy to come back.

We felt at home at Reinhard and Elisangela's place, they were very friendly while respecting our privacy and the house was, as described, low-key but had all the necessary amenities and above all in a great location, close to the lake in a quiet and relaxing area while still well connected by public transport to larger cities such as Zurich. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place for families with young children.

Highly recommend! Beautiful setting. House and yard exactly like the pictures. Very clean and well kept. Plenty of space. Great location from which to take day trips to explore Switzerland. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I really enjoyed my long term stay. For internet you can purchase a monthly unlimited data plan from Swisscom and simply use your phone as a hotspot. It's true the train stations are about a 20 minute walk but the area is so beautiful it's actually a pleasure - and there are buses just a quick walk down the hill that stop at the stations. It's very easy to get around even with luggage. A few uphill slopes but nothing too daunting. I also recommend the ferry to/from Zürich at least once instead of the train.

The stay at Agathe's house made me double enjoy the season I spent in Switzerland. The house is meticulously clean and tidy. She cultivates her garden with so much love and we spent time sharing with him as she fixed it. Being in this house is a wonderful experience. Note: she has two cats that do not enter the rooms and are perfectly polite.

Frank was a great host. The house is gorgeous and very close to the train station and supermarket. This made our visit to the city center very easy. The lake view from the house is amazing.

This was a good location- close to the train station and a Coop grocery store right across the street. Our only challenge was not having 3 separate keys for 3 adults with different schedules, but they were able to provide 1 extra which helped. It has a beautiful view of the lake! Thank you for the lovely accommodations!
