Due to unfortunate circumstances in our travel we weren’t able to make it to their place but they were amazing to contact us back and even went way above and beyond and refunded us the money they didn’t have to. Absolutely amazing people and a beautiful home. I’d recommend them to everyone who’s going through. If 6/5 stars was an option I’d have put that.

Thanks for a great stay in Baker City! Loved the location. Such cozy, cute decor. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked a bunch. Hot tub could have been hotter but that was probably because it was very chilly out and we used it a lot! Thank you, we’ll be back :)

Sumpter is an incredibly peaceful town and this little cabin was so cozy. Parking my truck with small uhaul trailer was a breeze. The Forest Service land up the road was so dreamy to walk around in. Fridge and oven are very nice and the bed was quite comfortable.

This is a stunning property! The photos don’t represent how beautiful this home is. The room was spacious, beautiful, and well stocked. We felt safe and pampered with crisp, clean linens and a gorgeous, spacious bathroom. We will definitely return and we’ve already recommended this place to visiting family.

We stayed 5 nights at Grouse House in order to ski Anthony Lakes for 4 days. It worked out very well. Big winds while we were there caused one issue which was 100% fixed as soon as we let the host know. The bedrooms were good sized, bigger than we expected from the photos. We hope to come back to Anthony Lakes again and would be happy to stay at Grouse House again.

Love love love this cabin. We had such a great stay. It was so peaceful. The beds were so comfortable, with clean, fresh smelling linens! We loved the property and access to the river. An excellent house with everything that you are looking for! It was only the two of us, so the cost wasn't top rate, but with three bedrooms, I assume it is a great deal. Based on the looks of other properties in this town, it had to be one of the nicer homes and the seclusion made it even better. Very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked! Coffee maker was difficult to figure out even with the manual we searched for online. One day, we hit the right button, the next day didn't happen! However, everthing else exceeded expectations. Spices, oils, bags, coffee grinder, condiments in the fridge, leftover beer and soda....everything! Linens, washer and dryer with pods, TV was solid even though I brought my own firestick. Back patio has a cover area with a bar in the weather was warmer and you wanted to have others over. We even had four deer walk through as our welcoming party. Beds were great. Books and games, too. What a place and made it easy to respect the property.

This was the perfect little cabin for our stay. Very cozy, had everything we needed. The huge screened porch was nice even during winter to remove and store our snow gear. We stayed warm, there were extra blankets if needed. Our teens got a kick out of using the VHS player and found a few of their favorite old movies to watch, which was fun. Very snowy and beautiful, was perfect!

The Scandinavian West Hall—Near Anthony Lakes!

The Scandinavian West Hall is a dream. Four of us were traveling through Oregon's small eastern towns, and were lucky enough to spot this place on our route. It's difficult to describe, and while the pictures are accurate, they do not do it justice. It was cozy and grand. A few specifics. The beds are very comfortable, which is often a detail overlooked at most properties. Tasheena and her team (shoutout, Keely!) are very responsive and are prepared to do what it takes to ensure guests have what they need. North Powder is sleepy (especially so during Christmas), so make plans in Baker City, at Hot Lake Springs, and Anthony Lakes. There is a large table for games and meals. If you plan to cook in, bring your favorite pot and pan. Highly recommend. Vow to return.

We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to spend at the cabin. It was very quiet and comfortable with a perfect temperature, even though it got down into the 30s overnight. The Malheur National Forest is only a short drive away, and we also were able to get up to the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest on our last full day. Would love to stay there again!

The Cowboy Cottages house was lovely. It has a spacious homey feel. The kitchen had a full set of pans with matching lids. We used the house’s wood stove to keep it nice and warm. Randall was quick to answer my question before we visited. Definitely would stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

This was a great quiet place for our group. The views were wonderful, nice outdoor seating area for all. The house was clean and was a great size. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of supplies and linens. Listing does state 3.5 bath but really is a 3 bath, we did not find four toilets, but was not a deal breaker.

Tiny house was excellent for a stay to attend local event. Downstairs bedroom had double bed. Kitchen , bathroom and living space small but great . Upstairs bedroom was two comfortable twin mattresses but low headroom was difficult to dress (would be best for children).

Amazing views, comfortable bed, very responsive host, wonderful location. We brought plenty of water for cooking and washing up (5 gallon camping jug) so a dry camp is no problem for us and appreciated this being clear in the listing so we prepared adequately. Such cute decorations and the little butane stove worked wonderful for heating water for coffee and oatmeal in the morning. It was so quiet and lovely just relaxing on the porch or down in the chairs in the sitting area. Highly recommend this glamping! Thank you, Elisha!
