I hosted a slumber party for my 10 year old and 9 of her friends, THEY HAD AN ABSOLUTE BALL!! The second night, my husband, mother and 3 children enjoyed a night ourselves, and no one wanted to leave the next morning! Thank you for providing such a comforting atmosphere for my family and I to enjoy!

Victoria is a gem and this place is so special! My family is from Southern Illinois but we mostly all live scattered across the country now. We came together for a funeral and needed to be together for feeling the family support joy and love that our family has always had. This house provided us with exactly what we needed. Plenty of shared space with comfortable seating, privacy in each guest room along with private bathrooms in each room. Gorgeous wrap around porch overlooking the pound! Absolute perfection. A must if coming to Southern Illinois! And Victoria is 4 minutes away if there’s anything you have a question about or need. We enjoyed it sooooo much we plan to rebook for future holiday celebrations together! Truly holds a very special memory for my family now. Thank you!

Jennifer's home, in a community a bit off the beaten path, was larger than we expected with a big fenced backyard that our dog enjoyed. It is clean, nicely decorated, well-supplied, and the beds are comfortable. Thanks, Jennifer!

Lovely place, quiet, peaceful cove. House has everything. The screened decks are stellar for enjoying the natural beauty. Bird watchers try the 3rd level, no screen and in the treetops. Very dog friendly property. Kind and attentive host. We had a great time and hope to come back.

The stay was so wonderful! Maryanne had absolutely everything we could have needed. The place was absolutely adorable and well laid out. Spacious, with a living room with ample seating, a dining room, and a back porch with tables. Waking up to a cup of coffee with plenty of creamer and options for it were so nice. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and playing board games in the family room. Despite renting due to a family funeral, Sweet Pea Bunglow was a perfect little stay and we hope to be back!

We rented this house for a busy wedding weekend. The location was just a few minutes from everything. House was very clean and comfortable. Communication was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

This stay completely exceeded my expectations with its amenities and impeccable service. (And I had high hopes to begin with!) We arrived on thanksgiving and I was easily able to make a whole spread here, I utilized some of the homegrown spices and peppers which were DELICIOUS. We’re grateful for all the yummy snacks and gifts, even the doggies liked their pumpkin treats! I can’t say enough good things about this property and the owners. D and Jane were so kind and welcoming, it was an honor to get to know them through conversation as well as through admiring their hobbies and collections.

Everything was just how it was described. We had a very relaxing time and will book again for next years hunting trip if available.

Kristine’s house was just as described. The space was great for gathering together to visit and relax. The pool was a great bonus! We would definitely choose this property again when staying in the area.

Dave's place was really great and we had plenty of room for our family, lots of amenities, and he left detailed instructions.

We loved our stay. Bonnie was so friendly and kind. The wood stove was great on a rainy day and welcomed at night. There were wonderful trails to walk our kitty on and she absolutely loved the ledge around the massive windows to watch the birds. Didn't want to leave such a quiet retreat.

This is a great place to disconnect and enjoy nature’s beauty.

The cabin was just what we needed for the weekend and very well equipped, although we weren’t there enough to enjoy it thoroughly as I participated in the Tunnel Hill Ultra

We had a wonderful time! It was great to get away for a few days and even better that we could bring our dog. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The cabin looked just like the pictures. The hot tub was fantastic and we loved the rocking chairs out on the deck. It was conveniently located near the wineries and beautiful trails. Giant City State Park should not be missed when visiting and was only about 20 minutes away. It was also very convenient to have a Walmart about 8 minutes away so we could pick up anything we needed. Definitely would return for another long weekend.

We live in Nashville and this was a lovely weekend getaway within 3 hours drive. The property is gorgeous and super peaceful. The guidebook is very detailed. We brought our two dogs and they were super happy too!
