My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

The location right on the river is very peaceful. The yard is huge. We used the fire pit and there was plenty of firewood to use. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and so well-decorated. I read about the coffee bar in other reviews so I was anxious to see it. It was even better than I expected. The house was so well-stocked with everything we needed - very thoughtfully done. We did several hikes in the area and this house was close to everything we wanted to do. I definitely recommend this home. Perfect for families with lots to do.

Great place to relax and unwind!

First off, Wendy is a spectacular human! She was the sweetest! I messaged her to see if we could check in a little early, not only could we check in early she let us know it was ready before the early check-in! She checked on us to see if we needed anything done around the house, leaves or wanted the Christmas decor down! It was just outstanding and we loved the Christmas decor! The boat dock was so peaceful and was my workout everyday!!! We will be back for sure!! It’s like we are family now!

So very nice to get what you paid for, with an attentive, caring ( not nosy)) host PS. The hot tub with a river view and the sound of the rippling water was priceless

Great, no issues

This is our second time staying here for new years and it was great as usual. It is very peaceful at this property. Very clean and perfect for our group size. We would stay again.

My family and I had a great time at Kay's place! We especially loved the variety of kitchenware. The view of the pond was also a favorite of everyone's.

We spend a few days after Christmas and the place was clean and quiet to relax , we definitely stay here again .

My brother and I treated our mom to a weekend getaway to celebrate her 80th birthday. The “Flying Squirrel” was perfect! Great floor plan, beautiful interior design, comfortable beds, and plenty of thoughtful extras! If you’re looking for a true “get-away-from-it-all”….this is it!

Nathan’s place was absolutely breathtaking and stunning. We visited family for Thanksgiving and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The space was so peaceful. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. You can tell a lot of time and care went into creating this space. Would absolutely visit again and recommend it for other people in the future.

When you pull up the gate you felt safe. It was an enchanting journey down the drive of wonder. Then you see a beautiful cabin sitting there by the river. The waterfall was beautiful coming off the mountain. We loved getting to pan for gold near the waterfall. The boys got to get their waders on and there fly fishing rods and got in the river. They caught two rainbow trout. We had everything we need to cook them that night. Nothing better than fresh trout. We would settle in every night with a big ole game of monopoly and then a tournament of darts. In the mornings I loved it the most. My husband and I would drink our coffee on the porch and watch the river go by and just listen to the peace and quiet. Such a joy of getting away from the hustle and bustle of life for a moment.

We had a great time on our impromptu trip to the lake. The house was clean and the sunsets were beautiful from the dock.

Beautiful home! Susan is awesome and communication was incredible. She really made our stressful wedding weekend easier and I truly appreciate her going the extra mile to assist with our special accommodation needs.

This AIRBNB is the best we have ever had! The home was beautiful, clean, well-stocked with everything - kitchen, bed and bathrooms. The game room was loads of fun! The hot tub was wonderful. The view was SPECTACULAR!!! It was a perfect trip for all of us and we had a marvelous time! Everyone agreed it was a perfect weekend! We will book this again!!

This place is a must see. It was very peaceful and quiet, the only noise we heard was the noise that we made. Neighbors are a nice distance from each other. The property was equipped with everything you would need to cook a family dinner. Need to hire a professional cleaner or a better one, other than that my family and myself enjoyed our stay and I will be rebooking in the near future. The property, location and the views is a 10 star!

This cabin met all our expectations for our stay in Blairsville! It was exactly as described and shown in the pictures, so we were not disappointed in the least. It is a very well maintained, clean and cozy property, provided all the necessities for our stay, and most importantly (for us!) was that they accepted our 2 small dogs who ALWAYS travel with us!! So finding a pet-friendly place is critical. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the location of the cabin for convenience to everything we needed and the overall quality of the place itself and the hosts. They communicated throughly prior to arrival, answered all my questions in advance, and checked in on us during our stay. Would highly recommend to other travelers!!!

Stay was great! Loved how they decorated the place for Christmas providing the true holiday spirit. The amenities such as the arcade, jacuzzi, air hockey was awesome and kept us entertained. Ryan was communicative, pleasant and accommodating. Would stay again.

The place really does have a beautiful view. I enjoyed the cabin and it was exactly as I perceived it to be when I booked the place. We actually stayed an extra day due to some weather issues. It’s private enough but not alienated. My only issue was that the key pad was acting funny for us. It worked for a little while then stopped working but we didn’t mind since we hardly left. It was a great cabin and a great experience. My friend did slip on the spiral stair case so be sure to be mindful when going up and down the stairs lol I think its perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 people.

The house was so beautiful and we felt so at home. We had some smell issues in the bathroom and it was after hours and they sent someone right away. We also were SO thrilled that it was decorated beautifully for Christmas!

We had a wonderful time and would like to stay again!

There are a couple extra hoops to jump through with this management company. We rent often and seldom have issues. Lots of texts, calls and emails warning me to sign their contract or they would cancel the rental. I was traveling and had paid. We went in person and all went well. The property was super and once we got into a groove, Southern Comfort was super as well.
