Family-friendly vacation rentals in Union County

Beautiful views and an amazing location if you're trying to get away from everything! The hot tub was definitely the highlight of our trip. The pool table was a lot of fun, and we were glad to have it there! The grill worked perfectly, and the host was responsive. The only thing to keep in mind is that the kitchen isn't fully equipped. They had pots, pans, and cutlery, but no other essentials like oil, coffee, tea, sugar, etc. We only had salt and pepper, so we had to improvise, as we weren't planning on leaving the cabin for the weekend and wanted to cook during our stay.

We absolutely loved this cabin in the woods! It was perfect for our 4 family- reunion. It was clean, it was organized and had all we needed for a great stay- plenty of kitchen items, great deck space and bedrooms. There aren’t really views- it’s super high up on a steep hill, but doesn’t offer views from the decks. Didn’t matter since we were concentrating on our friends and football! The closest grocery store which we felt was a little expensive did have everything we needed but it’s a good 20-25 min away. Overall we would stay again, it was perfect for what we needed.

Very nice and clean cabin ! We had no water when we checked in unfortunately. Once we called, they had the problem fixed in less than 20 minutes. Very responsive ! The only issue we had was the driveway. It’s steep and extremely slippery when it rains. Definitely not for inexperienced drivers. The view is beautiful and the hot tub was a nice add on. We enjoyed our stay and will be back !

Wonderful cabin with so much to do. Really enjoyed the games in the basement and the hot tub. The house came equiped with everything we needed and even some things we didn't know we needed....like a couple of really nice serving plates for our charcuterie assortment. We were pleasantly surprised to pull up and see a lit Christmas tree in the window 😀 Such a well decorated and homey space, we felt right at home and had a great time!

We only stayed for the weekend but would have loved to stay longer! Directions to the cabin were spot on and very helpful! The area is breathtaking! Rolling hills and mountain for as far as you can see. Cabin is very cozy, peaceful, and absolutely perfect in every way. I loved that the cabin was so dog friendly! Would definitely like to stay here again in the summer to see all the trees and landscape with vegetation.

An impressive home with an impressive view that accommodated our large family and let us have a peaceful week away from it all. Especially love the large round table where we all gathered for meals and game nights.

We came to Young Harris for our sons wedding and stayed at this beautiful terrace apartment. It was clean and cozy. Very convenient location .Ursula welcomed us and went out of her way to lend me a steamer for my dress. We would love to stay with them again!!

What a lovely place. We has such a peaceful relaxing stay. The home is beautiful especially the bath room. Billy was very easily going and communicated quickly with any questions or concerns we had.

Home was very clean and beds were very comfortable! Loved the massaging chair.

Roomy, clean, well stocked home secluded but close to town and a winery. Pet friendly so the entire family could enjoy time in the mountains. Maureen answers her messages quickly with any questions. Great Host!

It was just as expected! Host were great! We didn’t spend much time there but to sleep and shower so it was perfect.

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay during Christmas while visiting family in the area. This place was a perfect location! Our host, Terri, was very responsive to all requests. Check in was easy and we accessed the home immediately on our arrival. The home was clean and the furniture was comfortable. There were a few things that were minor inconveniences that we informed Terri about upon checking out. These did not impact our stay and Terri confirmed that they would be addressed. Instructions are posted throughout the property to help with reminders which was helpful. The area is very quiet and private. We were surrounded by trees and even though it was winter, the scenery is very nice. It's also only about 5 miles from Blairsville so it's easy to run into town for coffee, restaurants, groceries. We would recommend this place and would stay here again.

So happy and satisfied with our stay here! Pablo was such an amazing host. So responsive and helpful through our entire stay. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

This is how an AirBnB should be! You really get the feeling that this place is professionally ran. The property is well kept and clean. Private hiking trail with a little picnic area down by the river. It feels like a private campsite and even though there are other rentals on the property, We never really ran into anyone and we felt we had the place to ourselves. Downtown Blue Ridge is only a 10 min drive away and has a Walmart, Home Depot, and an Ingles grocery for anything you could need while you're in town. Pleasantly surprised with the restaurants. Definitely check out Whiskey & Water. Overall 10/10 would do again. In fact, considering booking a cabin for an extended stay.

Terri was a wonderful host. She gave us hiking and restaurant ideas and was accommodating to our 1 year old who can be a handful. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Big Canoe.

We loved the cabin! It was just as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely bring a different vehicle next time, had a little bit of a hard time maneuvering on the mountain roads to get up to the cabin. Steep downhill and inclines. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you! Karen
