We stayed for one week in the beautiful Villa Escape near the village Madampe in one of the two houses on the estate named “The Nest”. It’s an awesome place with a lot of nature around, two pools and a very well equipped kitchen. The host was just perfect and very caring. She helped us organize stuff and offered assistance for everything. The housekeeper also was very helpful and caring, although there was a big language barrier - he is a lovely guy. It is a bit away from the city, but this is another plus, because it's quiet and calm. A scooter is recommended (Tipp: there is a scooter rental in Madampe, which isn’t on google maps and probably cheaper then the ones coming from Negombo. Follow the left road at the roundabout in Madampe and you will see it on the right side.) We highly recommend staying at this place if you’re searching for a private and quiet space with a whole house for yourself.

It was a pleasure staying with Bernard for about a month. The apartment lived up to my expectations. Bernard and his wife go above and beyond to make you feel at home and welcome. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. If you stay here, don't forget to order breakfast – it was absolutely delightful!

We had an amazing stay at the villa. It has spectacular views, is beautifully decorated, and has a range of private and open spaces great for a big group. The staff were very attentive without being in our way and we had the most relaxing few days here. Highly recommended.

This was a great find in Kindy and it will be difficult to find anywhere similar. The place is run by Champs father who couldn't be more welcoming, helpful and keen to save you money! The rooms are well presented and comfortable and regularly cleaned including bedding. The breakfasts are lovingly prepared by Champs father or mother and are reflective of Sri Lankan food. Although not in Kandy center it is close by by foot or cheaply accessable by Tuk Tuk. It benefits from being a little further out of town by being away from the hustle and bustle and the garden is an oasis of calm. Champs father has a wealth of knowledge and will gladly organise an itinerary for as little or as much as you need.

A villa up in the hills with amazing views and wildlife for breakfast. We had a private driver so easy to get to Kandy and back. Staff were great and welcoming and tasty food for dinner and breakfast.

Sudam is an amazing host. We arrived at 2 AM, and he was awake, ready to greet us with a warm welcome. He made sure we were comfortable and always checked in to see if we needed anything throughout our stay. His hospitality made us feel like it was our own home. The accomodation was extremely clean and well kept. The air-cons worked perfectly. The beds were also very comfy. It was a safe environment with good security. No complaints at all. We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting. We will definitely be back here when we go back to Sri Lanka. Thank you Sudam for making our stay so wonderful!

"Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend!" Our family from Melbourne initially booked for 4 days but loved the place so much that we extended to a week. The blend of traditional Sri Lankan architecture with modern amenities was amazing. The property is safe, clean, and well-maintained. Sam, the host, made sure our stay was perfect, while Dinesh, the property manager, was always ready to help. Manjula, the security guard and handyman, was also incredibly friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return!
