Amazing place. I really loved this house. My kids loved the pool and they wanted to stay longer :) I truly recommend this place.

I’ve been using Airbnb for years, and Ruwan is one of the best hosts I’ve had! He’s incredibly accommodating, and his warm family makes you feel right at home. We arrived two days early because our last place wasn’t what we expected, and from the moment we got to Ruwan's, we knew we had found a gem. We even extended our stay by another night! Ruwan has a tuk-tuk and offers fair prices for rides around the area. He can also arrange airport taxis for about the same cost as Uber, which was super convenient. The apartment was clean and perfect for our week-long stay. The internet connection was excellent, so I could easily join remote video calls. You get a true jungle experience with monkeys and birds, and the beach is just a short 5-10 minute walk away. Breakfast was amazing, featuring tasty Sri Lankan dishes and fresh fruits. On our last day, Ruwan took us to Turtle Beach for a great price. We highly recommend his place—he genuinely cares about making your stay memorable.

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

We spent three nights at Anna’s place as a family of 3, with a 5 year old. The villa is in a really good location - a 20 minute walk from the main road of restaurants and Unawatuna beach, so away from the hustle and bustle and noise at night (save for the odd wild barking dog!) We found that tuk tuk drivers were reluctant to pick up in the jungle up here using pick me or uber so we either walked or flagged one down if one drove past on the off chance. To overcome this we took peoples numbers on return journeys from dinner and text to see if they were around to pick up! Anna is an attentive and super friendly host and always on hand to answer questions via the app. Her mother in law Sujatha always welcomed us with a smile when we returned to the villa. She also turned the lights on outside the villa for our return for the evening and moved our washing out of the rain when we left it which we thought was super cute. Fabulous place in a special garden setting. Was a perfect place to arrive and decompress after a long flight from Europe. Melanie was extremely helpful, also in arranging things aside from the accommodation. Many thanks!

Stunning villa! Amazing hospitality from Fayaz, who helped us arrange trips and produced some of the best food that we have ever had. We stayed 10 days and each morning we were served a different breakfast Thanks for a wonderful stay

We had a great stay at Old Clove House as two families each with two small children. The layout worked really well for us. The food at the villa was delicious and if we wanted to eat out Tai had lots of great recommendations and tuk tuks available to transport us.

Excellent Staff! Very well maintained premises, neat and clean but the highlight has to be the staff. The host was very prompt and helpful, prior to and throughout the stay. A little out of the way and secluded.Not much to do around the property, but that's why we loved it. Better with your own vehicle for transport. Pls do get the staff to prepare your meals, the best food we had on our trip to SL. Would definitely stay at pineapple Villa on my next trip to SL. Thank you Tushari, Hema and Randini.

We loved our stay at Diana and Matthew’s place. Amila and Madala, the couple who live on site looked after is so beautifully. They were so attentive generous and kind, and the food they provide is delicious. The surroundings are peaceful Green and lush and bursting with bird life. Also as it’s only a 3 - 5 min tuk tuk to the beach it’s also super convenient. The villa is extremely clean and comfortable and is set away from Amila and Madala’s cottage, so feels very private whilst at the same time being close enough for Amila and Madala to be on hand in case you need help with anything. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Very nice tranquil villa in Unawatuna, would definitely come back next time! Perfect for a smaller group. The whole team around Skylight are very responsive and friendly.

Perfect for what we needed, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff were very kind and helpful. Ours room was spotless and just like the pictures.

Etmba House is such a treat! The home is cozy, stunning, and perfect for a family getaway. We really enjoyed spending our days there. Everything is clean, and the crew—Nuan, Michael, and Shehaan—are super attentive and outstanding. A special mention to Thilakshi, whose delicious local dishes were so fun to try. It’s the ideal spot to relax, whether lounging by the pool, soaking in the quiet, or listening to the calls of peacocks. The location is fantastic too—close to Galle and several beautiful beaches, with Autos and Ubers readily available. Lara is communicative and can answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend it and we cannot wait to be back!

We stayed 2 nights in the property in December 2024, 2 storey house is large enough to accommodate 15 people. To make us find the place easily, Isuru the property manager rode his motorcycle and met us at the intersection of the main road. he was directing us over the phone all the time. We use the site chef service through out our stay and food were excellent, We used the swimming pool and water is clean and comfortable temperature, as there are no other people living near by we were able to sing and enjoy the stay as we wish. Isuru has a good knowledge about the area and directed us best beaches and best restaurants. Any questions and issues were address with in a short time. As a happy member of our team, I do not hesitate to recommend the Raki's place to anyone who wants to stay and enjoy a peaceful holiday.

Bianca and Dasun were amazing hosts right from the beginning to the end. So responsive and nothing was too much hassle. their assistant Dinu was super nice and always kept the house, pool and garden in pristine condition and took us in a tuktuk when we needed. our kids loved this place and didn't want to leave. Surfing on your doorstep. what more could you want ? we will be back.

Punchi Doowa is incredible, we had the best time staying at Hettie’s beautiful property. The place is beautifully decorated and the nature is just incredible – we saw so many animals, and it was a delight to escape from busy beaches to Hettie‘s place. Umesh and Pubudu looked after us excellently, their food is much better than that you can get in restaurants on the south coast. We were nervous about booking because we thought there would be mosquitoes and lots of bugs, but actually there’s less than you see in many other places. Thank you again Hettie, definitely recommend booking Punchi Doowa.

I absolutely loved my stay at this villa! It was incredibly cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by a large, well-maintained garden. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the fiber internet connection was fast and reliable – I had the whole villa to myself, which felt like such a privilege! The location is perfect – just a 10-minute walk to the beach, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the village center. The host was kind, attentive, and always happy to assist with any questions. The friendly neighbors and the picturesque wildlife in the mornings were the perfect bonus to an already incredible experience.

We had a great time at Thenu Villa! Everything was super clean and the hosts were responsive. Highly recommend coming here for a stay nearby Hikkaduwa and major attractions.

I loved it here a peaceful and relaxing spot right next to the beach and away from the noise and business of the rest of Hikkaduwa though walking distance or short tuk tuk ride to go in and out as you please. Chutti and Kanchana are very kind and welcoming, there to help if needed and delicious food in their cafe across the road from the accommodation. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing time in this house. The price was so so good for the fact that you get the whole house with a kitchen and everything. The host is super friendly and responds very quick. We extended another day because we weren't ready to leave yet. Had a lovely time, thank you! 😊

We were very satisfied with the house. Great plus is the pool! After a day at the beach you can enjoy the sunset in the pool before you go for dinner. Recommended!

Shamila wasn't present personally but he ensured all the things are in place :) His mother was very helpful and considerate. We used the utensils and tried to make as less dirty as possible :P Location is spot on, away from hustle-bustle of the town and close to the bus stop. We will recommend the stay for all our friends :)
