Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Umpqua River

This is our second time staying at Brock's place. The home is beautiful, stocked with everything we need, close to area attractions and great restaurants. We enjoy the beautiful back yard and appreciate that the home is dog friendly.

We loved the quiet neighborhood and easy walk to beach. Also great location for driving to many sights and hikes up and down the coast. Extensive suggestions and interesting info compiled in a big folder. Home was cozy and comfortable. Large fridge. Tap water tasty. Enjoyed morning coffee ( supplied) on porch in sunshine. Birds and squirrels conversing and rhododendrons in full bloom. Heavenly!

Close to restaurants and retail.

We had 6 adults, 2 teens, a 3 year old and 2 dogs and the house fit us comfortably, a bed for everyone. The amenities were just as they said. Although the house is a bit dated and the kitchen could use some new pans, it was clean and private with a large outdoor area for kids and dogs to run. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive to any questions I had.

It was a very comfy place that made us feel right at home during our stay. The location is unbeatable! Thank you for allowing dogs as well :)

House was so clean, cozy and homey. We enjoyed our night stay. Scott was very responsive when answering our questions. Surrounding neighbors clean and quiet. Overall neighborhood is older but no issues during our day. Would definitely rebook!

We had a great month long stay. The house had everything we needed and our dog loved the fully fenced front and back yards. I worked remotely, but it was easy to enjoy as the neighborhood was walkable to fun casual eateries and to local markets, and it was a short drive to so much more! Thanks for hosting us, we’ll be back!

Pieter was an incredible host—responsive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. From the moment we arrived, he made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. The space itself was spotless, smelled amazing, and the sheets were pristine—which we truly appreciated. It was comfortable, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The location was also ideal, close to everything we needed. What truly set Pieter apart was his kindness. When we accidentally left our iPad behind, he went out of his way to take time out of his weekend to meet us at a restaurant and return it. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. Highly recommend Pieter as a host—thank you again for everything!

The house was welcoming from the very first moment we got there. Everything was placed in a perfect way and labeled. Never had to look very hard for anything. The house was super well stocked and had all the amenities to make us feel right at home. It was a wonderful location, amazing to just literally step right off the deck and be on the beach. When down on the beach it was very quiet and never busy. Felt like we had our own beach most of the time. Debbie was a wonderful host and always there if we had a question. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

This place was just as described. Comfy, clean, and inviting beach house with ocean views, plenty of space, and a short walk to the beach. Easy to get to, clear communication, and dog friendly. It’s also in a convenient location to what the area has to offer. Spent a week here in March and would definitely come back.

This is a beautiful house in a stunning natural setting.

The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the swallows in the morning. Beautiful area, and Yachats is a cute town. Ate great fish at the market and enjoyed the gorgeous hike at Cape Perpetua.

The house was perfect for our getaway. The kids enjoyed the backyard sandy area on the dune and the private dune trail was super cool, espeically for sunsets. We did think it had better beach access-didn't know the dune has a steep dropoff—but there is nearby public beach access which is easier to use. The separate entry for the downstairs was a bit tricky if you have small kids that want to bunk down there but we managed. Everyone had a great time. House was well cared for and the kitchen was stocked with many essentials and we really appreciated that they left condiments and other things in the fridge door. You don't often see that! 10/10 would book again.

We absolutely loved our stay, thank you for the wonderful hospitality. The location is stunning, and so peaceful. We booked both apartments and it was perfect for our two families. The kids had a wonderful time in the beautiful pool every day. The farm fresh eggs and delicious coffee were a really lovely touch. The owners weren’t there but the biggest shout out goes to the groundskeeper who made our trip unforgettable. He went above and beyond, taking us to feed their pig and chickens, and showing us around the property. Thank you so much for all of the help during our stay!! Would definitely recommend and we’re hoping to be back!

This place was very unique and packed full of fun for all of us. However, the security of the building should be updated. The code to the front door was the easiest code you could ever use. Parts of the exterior walls were only covered with a plastic curtain, which you could lift up and see outside. We had a lot of fun otherwise. Thank you!

We spent 7 nights over spring break at this house. We were looking for a more secluded getaway and this fit the bill. Still close enough to amenities but out there. Everything at the house was functional, but we were warned beforehand to bring our own drinking water (I also saw mention of this in the reviews). Of course my kids became thirstier than ever so we plowed through a lot of bottled water! We really enjoyed the hot tub and movie room. Some of us even jumped in the pool for a minute for fun, but the water was still quite chilly (as expected). The property is amazing! Our dog picked up a couple ticks when I walked him through the more wooded area, so be sure and have your dogs meds up to date (not a bash on the place, I mean it’s the forest…just a heads up for people with dogs). Cody was great at being accommodating and helpful. Couple small things here and there that could be tightened/touched up, but par for the course for a well used STR. Would recommend

The house was comfy, cozy, and spacious, providing everything we needed. The serene country setting was absolutely beautiful, offering the perfect environment for peace and relaxation. We were delighted by the frequent visits from hummingbirds, chickens, and even some deer! Our dogs had a fantastic time as well, making it a great getaway for the whole family.

The home was beautiful, private, fenced in, and clean. The beds were comfortable. The outside enclosed seating area makes for a great view, while being shielded from the wind. Location wise you are not far from the casino, restaurants, and stores. We would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoy staying at Teri’s! It is perfect for visiting my 90 year old mother. We feel very safe and at home there. We had our family with us this time and they loved it as well.

Great location and the outside space is great! Lots of room for trucks with trailers.

Loved staying at Lisa's place. Very accommodating. After leaving, both my wife and I wished we hadn't left. We both have a fondness of Lisa, and her two dogs Teddy and Quincy. Very roomy and private with a nice private patio for us and one for our dog Zeus. Plan to return soon.

Very cozy place to rest your head! Great location and very cool idea with the blackboard wall. It was cool to look at what others had wrote. Would definitely like to come back again!

We loved Patricia's place. It was quiet & peaceful. Wildlife and farm animals to enjoy and interact with...we had a blast. Patricia was also very kind and great to talk to. Fun for us city folk to spend some time in the country ! We will be back...

Great place to stay, I was by myself and it was really fun to stay in the tiny house. Quiet neighbors and easy walk to the beach. If you’re looking to recharge and appreciate a less touristy beach location this place is perfect.
