Vacation rentals with a fire pit in uMhlanga

Everything was great with one exception. Having access to the beach club is very important. It makes no sense for residents for the time that they are resident in the estate not to have access. This is not the owners, Kirsten responsibility, but needs to be addressed. Would be pretty easy to introduce finger prints for the guests. We solved our issue by getting access to another estates beach house through my brother who was staying there. It is so important to us, that unless this gets resolved , we will look in this estate.

Great location with close proximity to the number of beaches, restaurants and attractions.

Our stay at Cathy and Jono’s property exceeded our expectations. Cathy kept checking in on us while we were still on the way since the weather was not so favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, she had the heater on for us and gave us a guided tour of their stunning house that is beautifully designed and very spacious. Cathy and Jono went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were just a text/ phone call away whenever we needed something, and this truly made us feel valued as guests. Thank you for being such incredible hosts Cathy and Jono, this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because of your warmth and hospitality. We cannot wait for our next visit!

A wonderful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Balito. But still a 10- 15 minute drive to all the action. The house is absolutely stunning giving the feel of indoor outdoor living. Very comfortable and spacious with gorgeous finishes. Beaches/shops and restaurants all in close proximity. I would recommend renting a car if you are choosing this Airbnb for ease of exploring. We will definitely be back.

We had such a great time staying at Jan's place, he was so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It was very child friendly and the estate it is in is beautiful and I felt very safe at all times. We will definitely be visiting again when we next in DBN! Thank you so much Jan.

Wow - what a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend Rascal's Rest as the ideal holiday destination. Beautifull house (pristinely clean, quality and very practical furniture, all the necessary important appliances, solar backup, well-kept with efficient daily servicing of house), fantastic location (very close to beach so extremely convenient and walking distance from general shops) Amazing host with efficient, transparent and friendly communication. This was an unforgettable experience for our family and we look forward to hopefully return again in future. Thank you Tessa and Sally!

We had a wonderful stay at Ryan's home. The house is gorgeous, very spacious and wonderfully designed. We have stayed at many AirBnbs and thought this home was of the highest quality. Ryan and his wife spent a lot of time and energy designing and furnishing the home. There are high-quality finishes throughout and very well-catered homeware. The home has a beautiful pool which we used daily and the estate is peaceful. While not at the beach, getting to the shops and nearby beaches was fairly easy. Ryan was very responsive and helpful when we had a few glitches. Overall a brilliant place to stay for a large family or friends holiday.

Very comfortable,clean & neat place. Caroline gave us many pin codes for the day which allowed us to enter & exit the complex with ease . Her response time was very quick . We felt very comfortable at her place.

The apartment itself is giving luxury Enjoyed our stay besides electricity outage at some point but everything was great , the location is perfect with lots to do ,loved the swimming pool as well Will definitely recommend and worth another visit , Vusi made it easy for us to enjoy our stay responsive all times & attentive to detail. Felt right at home! Aircon in the room, strong ceiling fans in the lounge. Private balcony overlooking the pool and beach. a smart tv in the room and lounge. Will stay again!

We had a lovely stay over the festive season. Great location and all necessary amenities. The jacuzzi and outside area were a massive plus and lovely to be able to walk into the village and to the beach.

What a blessing to stay in this beautiful apartment. We love being able to sit in the living room and to look at the ocean. Marcel was very helpful, and quick to respond to our needs We loved to walk on the pathway next to the beach, as the apartment is on the beach with easy access to the beach and the pathway. We would love to go back for our next holiday.

Great stay at Luke's apartment - really easy access across the road to the public beach for tidal pools and swimming. We didn't use the swimming pool but that seemed in good condition too. Large main bedroom with ample storage (and a fan we were very grateful for!), the second bedroom was also suitable for our needs (two adults) and had cupboard storage too. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery, we did not find any basics like oil and salt/pepper which meant getting our own - though this wasn't a problem. We made use of the aircon in the living room, really great extra to have on humid days. We loved the outdoor area too, semi-private with people walking past every now and again for the pool or beach access. Overall would definitely stay again - thanks for the hospitality :)

We loved our stay here. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The facilities in the estate were great. Ramano was a good host who communicated well.
