We had a wonderful weekend, loved it all from the sweet little dogs to the outside shower. It was an excellent home away from home.

A very special stay in a cosy and quiet estate. Beautiful views and walks. The fishing was very good too. The house was well kept and clean, a well stocked kitchen with all the essentials. Felicity was super helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

The chalet was exactly as the pictures displayed. The greeting was warm and welcoming. The facilities were absolutely great, a very charming and beautiful setting. I would definitely stay again

We loved our 2 night stay at KarMichael Farm. The Rose Cottage was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The views were so beautiful overlooking the farm. The heated blankets on the beds were fantastic as it was very chilly at night. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Himeville - it’s very close to the Glencairn Wedding venue too.

My husband and I went to Beautiful Breeze cottage the day after our wedding and spent an amazing, relaxing, comfortable and peaceful week there. Rosemary was very helpful with directions & nearby attractions and was very friendly. She invited us to watch the birth of a nearby baby calf which was so special to witness. There was a small issue with the water supply, but Rosemary and her husband were very quick to fix it and gifted us with a bottle of champagne for the inconvenience 🙏🏼 Highly recommend this stunning cottage for a relaxing getaway in nature. Will definitely be back!

i did not want to leave! the photos on the site do not do justice. i keep on showing my picts and videos to all my friends and they are amazed! it was so surreal and i kept on thinking about how blessed i was to be able to enjoy a place like this. we were welcomed and looked after by the most pleasant care taker. he was truly a gem, and he would come out to help with anything, even just to start the braai. there is a telecope that you can use for star gazing and a boat with fishing rods. we were the only cabin on the lake, but the care taker is always nearby, and it was very safe. the place is only 15 mins away from Howick, so getting what we needed was easy.

We really enjoyed our stay - it was short & sweet but met our needs and was super comfy. Thank you !

Beautiful farmhouse located in the most serene and peaceful farm setting. The house is immaculate and well laid out to accommodate guests. Bedrooms are large and very well appointed with quality linen and bedding. The surrounding property is beautiful with lovely trails to explore the surrounds. The property is close enough to shops and restaurants but also secluded enough to ensure a relaxed and private experience. I can highly recommend a stay here and i will certainly visit again in the future.

Our recent stay at Mountain View Ranch in the Midlands was pure bliss. Nestled amongst mountains, this cozy lodge offered everything we needed for a perfect mountain escape. The lodge itself was incredibly charming. The interior was warm and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating and a fireplace that provided the perfect ambiance for chilly evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. The staff is very friendly and the whole process was smooth from beginning to end. Thank you, we will be back!

What an amazing house and what a beautiful setting . So much trouble has been gone to in both the home and the garden . We felt very much at home and relaxed in the ambience of this huge house and garden . Very peaceful corner of a huge farm with a caring host who leaves you to be bit is just a moment away of needed. Perfect home for 4 couples well equipped and most comfortable

We had the most blissful few days here, what a dream come true. Stunning surroundings. We took the boat and the tubes on the dam and spent hours splashing around in the river with the kids. Melissa recommended a wonderful walk that we did, short hike with a swim in a waterfall at Cobham Nature Reserve nearby. We will 100% be back and bringing friends now that we know there’s other rentals very close by. The perfect stay, gorgeous house with everything we needed!
