Glen Brook - Cosy couples/family apartment.

Located minutes from Lake Windermere and the restaurants and bars of Bowness but still in a quiet residential street. Our newly refurbished traditional Lakeland property is a perfect cosy home from home retreat for families and couples looking for a base to explore the Lake District. Set on the second and third floor the apartment has lots of living space to make your stay comfortable whatever the weather. There is free street parking outside.

Penthouse - Duplex Flat

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

Like many UK establishments the plumbing/ water pressure was strange at first but easily dealt with once studied. Basically Peter’s place was fantastic. Everything one would need was provided. The bed was superb, the laundry facility perfect, the kitchen very well equipped and the Italian restaurant down the stairs welcoming and excellent! All this and with the perfect location to explore the Lake District. Six out of five!

450 Marine Road East apartment 3 is a two bedroom 2 bathroom property with 2 sofa beds in the living room. If you need to use the sofa beds extra bedding must be asked for in advance. A big advantage is dogs being allowed to stay so we took our little Bedlington terrier. We found that the location was excellent to walk along to central Morecombe in 25 minutes. We had fantastic bowl of chowder in the Bath bar which is dog friendly. In the evening Bare village is right around the corner where there is a dog friendly bar called the Little Bare. The views of the coastline are stunning and ever changing. We loved waking up and having breakfast at the table next to the bay window. The colours and sunset are very impressive. We loved the decor in the apartment and found it had everything we needed for our stay. Great communication from Alex and Helen. We’ll be back!

We had a really lovely stay at Simon and Cath’s place, for a week with our kids. The place was ideal - easy to find, and walkable to the town centre. The accommodation was well laid out and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Our hosts were extremely helpful, with local tips and advice. Thank you for a great stay! Convenient place to stay when traveling in the Lake District. Very spacious and clean rooms, with large and comfortable beds. Great living room and large table with a wide range of board games provided. The host was very friendly and helpful. Private parking space was a bit difficult to park at night, but we are offered clear instructions on finding the place. Overall, my friends and I had a great experience, and this accommodation is definitely great value.

The place's location is something we never expected till we reached. It's magnificent. Enjoyed the sunset right from the room. the beach is on the other side of the road. Awesome. Emma's a wonderful and responsive host. We found the place super clean and really enjoyed our stay. A must try.
