No Cleaning Fee! Egret's Landing, located on a quarter acre in the Pine Mountain Lake community near Yosemite, is a beautiful, clean, well stocked split-level home. This home suffered a house fire in November of 2018 and was fully rebuilt with new construction on the interior in December 2020. We tried to think of everything. to make your stay incredible. We installed a generator, which starts automatically and it even powers the hot tub! We can't wait to host you!

This was our 3rd year at the Thomas Retreat. Although we didn't get snow we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Not too far up Hwy 4 we found snow to let the kids play. Loved coming back to the cabin to warm up in the jacuzzi. Close enough in town to run to Big Trees market for anything we might have forgot. Love that the kitchen is nice and open to the living room and rest of the house. Also, appreciate the nice new couches. Beds were comfortable and linens super soft. Thank You Lynn.

We were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat throughout our stay. Mike went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. Their cabins were spacious enough to easily host my group 30! Mike also allowed us to check in 3 hours early! The location was fantastic, offering easy access to many local restaurants/markets and lakes! Lovely and cozy stay. Was nice and clean. Drive way was a little intimidating but it was actually fine to drive on. It wasn’t too far from bear valley and was very easy to drive up there. We loved walking around the lake and the distance from the grocery store and gym was walkable which was convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Stephen is a great host. great communication about check in. The place was exactly as described and in the photos. Having a primary room upstairs was wonderful. I also loved the quirky hours which all at the facility followed. I'm keep this place in mind when I return to the area for work.

One-of-a-kind home (two of a kind, I guess, if you count the CO version) made an unforgettable experience for our family (5 adults, 3 kids and 2 pups)!! Thoughtful consideration seeped in every nook and cranny! 1) brilliant open layout strikes perfect balance between having a corner/plenty of room for everyone, yet still with a lovely sense of togetherness; 2) exceptionally well-equipped and spacious kitchen; 3) play closet with enough toys and board games to keep our 2yo toddler and pre-teen girls equally entertained; 4) winter gear to borrow -- sleds, snowshoes, etc. -- kids spent hours playing in the hill across the street (within sight from the cabin). In terms of virtually every amenity -- from quality kitchenware, comfy beds, toiletries, extra blankets, towels, spare friggin' batteries -- the Chesa Madrisa was a couple notches above what one should be able to reasonably expect from a vacation rental! Hillary was an absolute joy to communicate -- we can't wait to be back!

Great stay for our 3 families. The kids loved their loft sleeping and play area (and we loved how entertained they were outside of the main living area). Aside from having to do dishes “old school” because of no dishwasher/disposal, we loved our stay.

We had a lovely time with family here. Beautiful setting, very clean and neat, nicely managed with professionalism. My kids loved the bunk beds. Some family members did think the beds were on the firm side, but I slept great. Wish there were a few more towels available for our use (and for the price of the rental), as we had to wash a load. We had a lucky stay with snow, and the property was just perfect! Janet was a great host and the care put into the home and hosting really shows!
