Danielle’s bunkhouse had everything we needed for a weekend at a friend’s wedding. She had a fresh supply of ice waiting on a hot weekend. The little bunkhouse was clean and comfortable and even had tinfoil and spray oil which I had forgotten to pack. We made use of the barbecue and kitchen facilities. I was able to birdwatch in the big trees surrounding the property and enjoyed our walks and visits with friendly neighbours down the street.

We stayed at Michelle’s place for the weekend and had a great time. Everything was clean and tidy. Our favorite part of the cabin was the fire pit.we spent time there enjoying the warm, pleasant weather with the fire crackling.

A lovely quiet place with many amenities you don’t even need to leave the property to have fun. We stopped here for one night to take a break for our long drive and we had a great time! We wanted to stay longer. The sauna, gym, and big speakers to play music on was a really nice touch. Joanne and Brian are lovely hosts. We felt very welcome and they made the entire stay pleasant and smooth.

The place was amazing! For a reasonable price, it made a wonderful comfy getaway. The views of the mountain from the backyard were incredible, the indoor fireplace was a treat, and interior was extremely homely. Made for a great weekend with friends. The host was very polite, well meaning, and responsive. My only weak point was that the queen sized beds seemed a little small for their size, though I could be wrong. 4.8/5 starts

This is the second time we have stayed at Diane’s place and I’m sure we will be back. It is tucked away in very peaceful quiet area of hope. Right on the river which is great for a cold plunge and hot tub to warm up in after. There is a beautiful walking trail right out of the driveway that takes you to othello tunnels. Inside the house is spacious and clean. Great for cooking meals and relaxing with friends. Diane was a great host and had provided everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The photos do not do this place justice. The cabin is beautiful, has a really old school cabin feel. It is the kind of place where you could easily spend a whole week inside relaxing and reading all the cool books and magazines, watching the vhs videos and playing games with friends. The host was super responsive and friendly. My friends and I already decided that from now on we will come to this cabin every year as a tradition. Kitchen has most of the things you need, but remember to bring your coffee and cooking oil.

The Aspen is a perfect home for a family or group of friends. We were 6 adults and 2 children and we had room to spare. The house and location are beautiful and we were able to dock our boat on the private dock. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. The house is lovely, just as the photos show. It is roomy, very well appointed, clean and tidy and we were extremely comfortable there. Phebe is a great, responsive host. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely lakeside retreat!

My family has a great stay at the cabin. Directions were easy to follow and the owner met us to walk us through how to use everything since this cabin is completely off-grid. This is a great place to stay if you're looking to get away from the city. It's completely private. Our dog enjoyed running around on the property and the kids loved the beach area by the river. Would highly recommend this place for those looking to unplug and wanting to enjoy nature!

I had a great stay at Joseph and Margaret's cottage! The place was super charming and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The cottage had an inviting and cozy vibe. I really loved the attention to detail, including the thoughtfulness that was put into the children's area. The landscaping around the property was absolutely stunning. The location was super quiet and peaceful, and I loved how close it was to Chilliwack Lake. Joseph was an amazing host. He responded quickly to my last minute reservation, which I really appreciated.

We stayed over Christmas as a bit of a getaway from the hustle and bustle. From the moment we walked in my whole family fell in love with the cabin bit was quiet and peaceful. Lots of room for the dogs (one lab and one doodle) to play in the yard and beautiful walks about town! We brought extra games not knowing what was there but lots of games and activities to play. We are planning on coming back soon!
