Lake cabins in Truman Reservoir

It was comfortable. We dug into the DVD collection a bit, had a great time swimming on the lake, the neighbors cut down a tree and kept our bonfire loaded with wood. Everyone is friendly and neighborly, and we really love this little quiet nook on the water.

So peaceful and beautiful here. We loved our stay!

Beautiful, clean cabin! We especially loved the fire pit, wrap-around porch, loft, spacious rooms, and close proximity to Harry S. Truman State Park and several great restaurants. Kathy was responsive and thought of everything. We would definitely recommend this cabin.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and loved it. We wanted to have a quiet place to relax and unplug. This was the perfect place to do that. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We used the hot tub and the grill, both were easy to use and worked great. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The area is beautiful which makes the drive very pretty. Climax Springs isn’t too far away where there is a gas station and Dollar General if you need to reload on snacks. The host greeted us when we arrived and showed us everything. They are very nice and respond to messages quickly. We plan on staying there again!

Carolyn and Willie are delightful. Every detail of our stay's needs was provided for. Furniture is attractive AND comfortable 🙂 Appreciated the welcome basket. One favorite - during quiet mornings on the porch you can listen to so many different animals waking up - donkeys, goats, sheep, turkeys, roosters, quail, horses, cattle and so many songs birds. Grab a cup of coffee and sit for a spell!

Cindy’s air bnb was the perfect place and beautiful views for our book club retreat! We will definitely come back here for future retreats!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. From waking up and having coffee on the screened porch to playing all day down by the dock, it was a perfect place for our group to stay.

This was exactly what my family and I were looking for! The view was breathtaking, and it was a much needed break from life in the city. Jason provided very clear instructions, and it made our check-in very smooth (which was so helpful after 9 hours on the road, and it being so late when we arrived). The kids loved the room with the bunk beds, and the outdoor patio was beautiful. Everyone had a great time, and my kids already asked to go back during the summer time. Luckily, the weather was kind to us and we were able to spend so much time outdoors. Thank you, Jason! :)

It was relaxing, quiet, and peaceful. The house was very clean. The hosts had several items to use on the lake which is very thoughtful.

Had a couple of issues during the stay, however Maria and her husband Zane were very responsive and made sure that we were taken care of. We were previous owners of the property. Zane and Maria have made many upgrades to the property in the last five years. If you stay during the week you will have beautiful calm water and a peaceful stay. Weekends get a little bit busier on the water, but still very nice. If you stay over a holiday weekend, or the Shootout weekend it gets a little rough on the water. Coconuts is within walking distance. A little pricey, and a little hectic on weekends (in season). However, there are plenty of good dinning options within a 20 to 30 minute drive, and shorter by water. Thanks to Zane and Maria for providing a great experience.

This was our second time staying here and we had a great time! One of the best things about this house is how easy it is to walk to the dock. In the off season you might want to bring food as some of the restaurants close by are closed. The kitchen has everything you need and grilling outside is always great for dinner. Beds are very comfy and the house itself is relaxing. Thank you Danielle!

Great place for my family of 6 to stay for a few nights. We loved hanging on the lake in a quiet cove (other than music playing from coconuts- which we didn’t mind). Kitchen was well stocked with ingredients and household items. Beds were very comfortable and we overall had a perfect weekend! Jeff was great with communication and we will definitely stay here again

This place was functional for what we needed for a week long stay. The host was very responsive and ready to go above and beyond for us to have a comfortable stay. We may be returning next year!

She was very quick to respond when I asked any questions. The space was beautiful and the area on the lake was very peaceful and quiet.

Gina was awesome to work with. There’s no doubt I’ll stay with her again when I’m the area.

I highly recommend this place to anybody traveling through the area. It’s not a huge place, but it’s definitely worth the stay. We enjoyed our time as we stayed for 5 nights. Quiet, peaceful, just a nice place overall!

It looks like a tiny home but there is a lot of space. You do have to climb a ladder to go upstairs but it is a large area with two beds. Downstairs there is another bed and sofa bed. The beds we used were very comfortable. It's a quiet street off the main highway with very little traffic. We will be back!

The house and location were great. The house itself was in much better condition than some other places we have stayed in the past at the Ozarks

Dale's place was everything we could ask for. There was plenty of space and exactly as described. There was pots and pans for cooking and plenty of plates and cups. The view of the lake from the back of the house was amazing with the sunrise. If you are looking for something peaceful and comfortable for a little get away this is definitely the spot. I would definitely come back.

Sterett Creek Lake House was perfect for our family to unwind and recoup before heading out again to the MO State Fair! It was clean, easy to find, and quiet, with comfy beds, and a nice kitchen. Erica was responsive to our questions and everything was exactly as described.

loved our stay here. perfect location, clean, quiet. love the fact there are tons of games, lots of spices to cook with. Basically anything you could need. fridge wentput when we first got there. I Don't know how Amy did it, but, lowes showed up at 730 in the morning with a new fridge! we were so shocked that she got that done in the middle of nowhere! would 100% recommend this place!
