Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Trapper Creek

Our stay here was great and just what we were looking for- affordable, available, spacious, and clean.

Great unit and grounds close to town. Looks just like the photos. Perfect property for entertaining away from home. House is clean and cozy and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the freezing temps.

The pictures depic the home as it is. I would stay here again.

Met & exceeded our expectations. Lorena’s home is beautiful and comfortable. When the clouds finally parted the view of Denali was phenomenal. The valley below the bluff was golden with fall color … but as our guides on other adventures told us, moose season just started, and they know it, so the wildlife was MIA. The road to the house was no problem. If I didn’t know it was off the grid I would not have been able to tell…. The bed was comfortable and the living space was great for cooking & taking in the views. I hope we can return someday!

Our group loved the spot! We all have airline backgrounds so being on an airplane other than as a means of transport was a great experience. Everything in the kitchen worked perfectly so we were able to make a great meal. The rooms & beds were comfortable and wifi/TVs worked without issue. Jon was very responsive to helping us get a few missing items in order to make the stay perfect. Only thing to be mindful of are that in the colder months the cargo hold bedroom isn't insulated so can be chilly and the sauna heat in the back can be difficult to maintain given its exposure to the outdoor elements. We'd love to come back when some of the other projects in progress are completed!

This property was extremely beautiful and peaceful. It was the Perfect summer getaway for me and my family! We ate the fresh baked bread the first night and that was so delicious! There was a lot to do around the house and on the lake including games, karaoke, and paddle boarding! I would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. This was the perfect place for two nights for my Mom, brother, and me. Good directions, ample parking, comfortable beds, good pots/utensils for cooking simple meals, adjustable heat, helpful book with activity and food suggestions, and sufficient hot water for two back to back showers.

Amazing stay as always! This was our 3rd time staying and I can’t recommend it enough. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful place! The back yard is immaculate with lots of room for our pups to run. Thanks Scott for another amazing trip!

Great place close to town.

Nana's Cabin provides the quintessential Alaskan getaway experience. It is an absolutely beautiful cabin in a lovely location. It has become a family tradition spring and fall every year. We absolutely love it!

We had an excellent winter weekend at the Lake House. The amenities were so nice, even better than the photos. The house was very clean, good size for 2 people or a couple with 1-2 small children. Super nice to have the hot tub and sauna, and Jessica was great communicating with us. Would stay again!

The place is beautiful. I live in Wasilla, was just looking for a night to not have to stress about what I need to do at home :) I think this place is perfect for that and will again. also will recommend for people visiting. being that close to Hatchers is pretty cool.

The hosts were always so quick to respond and regularly checking in to see if I needed anything! Overall, very nice stay. Cute cozy cabin if you need a tranquil break from the city!

Great location. More amenities than I have ever experienced in another Airbnb rental. Family oriented, providing plenty of space for a group.

This was a very clean, well-appointed cabin off the beaten path. It was apparent that the hosts put a lot of thought into providing everything that a renter might need. Their communication and helpfulness was exceptional. Cabin is small but very cute and fresh, with great views all around. There was a few miles of gravel road coming in and the hosts father-in-law lives in the main cabin about 20 yards in front of the rental.

The cabin is immaculate and the scenery is even better than the photos!! I actually grew up in town, and I have to say you really can’t beat the view this cabin has for the price. Would highly recommend! Just make sure you follow the written directions for the cabin or you’ll definitely pass it if it’s dark outside.

Liz was super responsive. We took a day trip up to Talkeetna to hopeful see the northern lights. Unfortunately, we did not see the norther light but we did have a lovely stay !

Had a wonderful stay here at this beautiful cabin! Shane at outpost was very nice and made sure that all was well throughout our stay. Me and my girlfriend had an excellent 2nd anniversary trip thanks to y’all! Definitely recommend, and I’d love to be back sometime! Thanks again!
