Vacation rentals with a kayak in Touraine

Very good stay, the house is very nice and very clean there is everything you need, it's cozy with the wood burning stove, the garden is great, the decor is very nice also old and modern. That's great. 40 minutes from the futuroscope, the kids loved it. It felt like home. Thanks to Anita and ivo who are welcoming.

Jane was very helpful and communicative as our host. The house and gardens were beautiful, spacious and well appointed. Loved the pool and hot tub. The immediate setting was green and peaceful with the river at the bottom of the garden. Thouars itself is clearly undergoing improvements to revive the town centre but it has everything you need and there are some good restaurants. The weekly markets had a wonderful selection of local produce and the market hall was open most days. A couple of good bakeries in walking distance from the house. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Walter’s cottage was an absolute delight! Nestled in a prime location, it offered easy access to all the attractions. The furnishings were meticulously done, adding to the cottage’s charm. Walter himself was an exceptional host, exuding warmth and courtesy throughout our visit. He provided us with invaluable suggestions and made sure we had a memorable experience. The cats and chickens roaming freely were an added bonus! We can’t wait to return to Walter’s home and explore more of his beautiful properties. We wholeheartedly recommend Walter and his enchanting surroundings to anyone seeking a truly special getaway.

Host was quick to respond and accommodation fantastic. Very clean throughout and nice grounds and pool for children to enjoy. The recommendations in the guest book were helpful.

This is a lovely Gite. We were a party of 4 adults for a week, wanting to relax, and it was ideal. The grounds are private, quiet, and feel secure. The river Indre runs past just a few metres from the bottom of the garden (but is safely fenced), and it's very easy to step out into the village for shopping and several restaurants. There are 2 larger supermarkets (Lidl & Carrefour) just over a kilometre away on the main road. The Gite itself is quite recently renovated; all the equipment is modern, and works properly. It really does look just like the pictures. Importantly, for our stay in October, the heating works well and was easily controllable. Jean-Luc and Florence are excellent hosts - we unfortunately had a problem with the dishwasher while we were there; they came straight round, and the machine was replaced with a brand-new one the following day. That is excellent, and we felt that we were being well looked after. It's a lovely Gite, we'd be very happy to return.

Yannick's house is very nice, spacious, very well-equipped. The environment is quiet with river views. The very nice jacuzzi after the.65km by bike. The canoeing on the river very nice after breakfast. Comfortable beds. Wide space to store bikes. Enough bathroom for guests. We'll be happy to go back to this beautiful place.

Very good weekend spent, small hot water problem but Isabelle and Marc were very responsive! Full and Good Breakfast! The hosts are very nice and give good advice.
