Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Torch Lake

This was our third time staying at Tiffany’s, and we love it more every time. The house is clean and comfortable, the views and setting are beautiful, and the options for exploring nearby restaurants always make us wish we had more time!

David & Jen were very communicative from the first contact. They answered questions quickly via the app. The morning after we arrived they checked on us if we needed anything. The location is great. 10 min drive to Boyne Mt to ski and would have been walkable to cute Walloon lake village in summer. The hot tub was hot & ready! (How many times have you gotten to an airbnb to discover the hot tub needs to be heated for hours before you can get in). They had games & even a foldable fooseball table, so perfect for the kids too. We got to chat w Jen & the kids for a few minutes (they live next door, which I hadn’t realized bc they respected our family time) and even gave us a dinner rec. Hope we can go back in the summer. Looks like a paradise then as well!

This place was magical. We stayed for two nights after a big snow storm and it looked like an absolute dream. Definitely use a good vehicle to get out here in the winter, some side streets are less plowed, but oh my word was it beautiful. Stocked with the bare necessities, it was nice and cozy, loved the wood fire place. But what really stood out was the surroundings - absolutely gorgeous and feels very private. I'm sure it's lovely in the summer to go down to the lake, we however really enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by snowy trees. It stayed nice and warm even with lots of use in super cold temps. Use of laundry was a bonus. Watching the sun rise over the lake from the back porch was exquisite, we hope to come back.

Ramy’s place met our expectations based on the listing! Cozy home, great for a weekend getaway with my wife! The outdoor hot tub was the highlight for us. Kitchen was well stocked, comfortable bed, and good location near everything. Ramy was quick with communicating and let us check-in 30 minutes early without fee. It's an older home which could use some further renovation, but overall it's a nice stay for the price and we would book again!

Great place to stay, we went for a snowboarding trip at boyne mountain and it was only about 20 minutes away. Hot tub was awesome and the man cave was great! Will definitely try and book again next time!

This was a great stay. I worked with Taylor to get some local vendors who would deliver flowers to the AirBnB for Valentines Day. One of the better communicating hosts I’ve ever stayed with. The location was great, we rented snowmobiles for the day, from a store just a few minutes away. Some good bars/restaurants close. Could see this being a great summer place too. The space was perfect for what we were looking for. The hot tub was clean and operated great. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

The house and setting are absolutely beautiful. We had originally planned to spend our days in one of the various close by towns, but we ended up spending a lot of time at the house because it was just so peaceful, private and relaxing. We went in the winter and the outdoor hottub and the indoor fireplace made for a great stay. We are excited to stay again during another season as it would be a different but equally amazing experience. John and Kelly are the most helpful and friendly hosts we have ever rented from and are quick to respond to any communication. We can't recommend the Shady Eighty highly enough.

Amanda was incredibly friendly, informative, responsive and flexible with all of our needs and communication throughout our NYE stay at her beautiful home! The house was spotless, there was coffee and a bottle of wine with a sweet note waiting for us on the table at check in, as well as thoughtful touches like dog bowls, towels and sheets to cover the furniture so we could still have some snuggle time with our pup. The back yard was perfect with an awesome hot tub, lights, fire pit and fully fenced for our fur baby to run and play. If you are looking for an easy to find, centrally located, beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Traverse City, I would 100% recommend this place as well as any others that Amanda hosts!

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

great place, optimal location for skiing and conference event @ main lodge walkable distance clean, convenient. kids enjoyed the loft, plenty of beds great place, would definitely book again

We stayed for 8 nights. EVERYTHING in the house was as described in the listing - so spacious and comfortable! Everything worked well, and even the pots and pans were in good condition. The wall of one-way windows in the great room was awesome! It was like being in nature without actually being in nature :-). You could almost reach out and touch the family of deer and birds that stopped by each day. I set up my workstation there (wifi worked great) and even enjoyed having to work! One of my favorite parts of the experience was stepping outside into complete silence! Such a welcome change to the city. We also loved the snow! We were so pleased that Dustin's guy came by promptly to clear the driveway each time more snow fell. All in all, this was one of our most relaxing, picturesque, and care-free vacay's. Thanks, Dustin, for sharing your lovely home! It's on our "repeat list" for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stephanie's place. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful with local recommendations, ranging from nearby restaurants to snowshoeing trails. The house is fantastic and offers all the amenities to make you feel at home (including some dog treats). If you have a dog, the fenced backyard is wonderful and there are plenty of nearby trails to explore.

Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

Thank you Kristi for allowing us to stay at your home! We had a great time and loved everthing about Gaylord. We spent Christmas here with the family and have to say it really was a white christmas! The home was perfect for the family and had eveything we needed to feel like if we were at home. Once again thank you we will be back soon!

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

Kat and Skip’s place was awesome! Cute, comfy, cozy! Nice tv accommodations if needed, balcony was nice! Definitely would stay here again! The beds were super comfy.

Comfy warm clean and conveniently located near Caberfae and Crystal Mtn.

The cabin was pristine and exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place to get away from the city. It was great for snowshoeing and our dog loved running in the deep snow. The cabin was very clean loved the pellet stove and dancing to the records.

The house was private and came with fuel sources for wood and pellet stoves for extra warmth. The space was clean, but we did have a hard time sleeping in the beds- they were a bit uncomfy. Elisabeth was sweet when I messaged her, had good recommendations, and easy to work with.

Overall we had a great stay! It was a great location right on the lake perfect for ice fishing and a little winter getaway. We had lots of room for sleeping and the beds very comfy!

Cozy, comfortable cabin for quick weekend trip to Pigeon River Country. Super clean and just what we needed while spending the days on the trail. Easy to get to the High Country Pathway, Lewiston, and Atlanta.

This was our 3 vistit to Craig's property. We love the peaceful surroundings great for hiking, snow shoing or cross country skiing. The location is 20 minutes from downtown Grayling. Its a short drive to Hartwick Pines. Craig's a fantastic host and has become a friend. We highly recommend this property.

This rustic little cabin was adorable and exactly what we were looking for! It was prefect for our week up north with our pups and the setting was beautiful. The cabin is secluded from the main residence, but close enough if needed. There are walking trails on the property (which the dogs loved!) and a fire pit overlooking a pond with a beautiful barn in the background. We were happy to find that the cabin amenities were as listed. Linens, towels, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, microwave, etc are conveniently provided. The mini fridge is perfect to stash leftovers and drinks - but just a note, there isn't a freezer compartment. There is a grill on the covered porch and even grates for cooking over the fire pit! We enjoyed the electric fireplace, which not only provided cozy nights, but gave that extra ambiance to the cabin. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Barb & Andy for a great stay and for sharing your cabin with us. We truly felt comfortable and at home.
