An absolutely beautiful place! Surrounded by nature and the most homely cottage. Perfectly located for exploring Kings Canyon and Sequoia National forest. It really was a home from home for us, so well equipped with everything we would need for a stay with a young family. BBQ, firepit, cot, highchair, toys, books, garden games! Nancy & Chuck were so friendly and welcoming. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

This house is beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. Love the location. Lots of toys for kids. We had a great stay. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kirsten's place. She and her husband are friendly and they managed to create a cosy place for glamping with a few vintage campers. The common space is well-equipped to cook. Sanitaries were super clean. Five-minutes away by foot, there is a nice café (with excellent pastries). The location is also convenient, 30-minutes away by car from the entrance of Kings Canyon National Park.

This was the 2nd time my family stayed at Ryan's place this year. The 2nd stay was just as great as the 1st. We already plan to return to Ryan's place for a 3rd time this year!

Jamie was a great host and very communicative! We had an unforeseeable challenge with check-in and Jamie bent over backwards to do right by us. The property itself is beautiful and ideally located near everything in Shaver. Our family loved our stay and will definitely be coming back!

Kyle was responsive the home was beautiful they were very accommodating to me and my family we had a great visit I definitely recommend staying here. I would definitely stay here again 😊

There was no snow on the ground so getting to the house was easy. I followed "Waze" which took me right there. The parking is ample. It was easy to get the key and open the slider. The heater worked wonderfully. If you want firewood bring it with you as they store only sells Pine for 9.00 a bundle. That burns fast. They also sell Duraflame logs which burn for hours and are a better deal. Its not far from China Peak so it was a nice trip for a ski day. Its close enough to the deli and the Shaver Lake Pizza to walk but I drove anyway. We rented ski equipment from Shaver Lake Sports which is really close too. There are ample pillows, blankets and towels. The wifi was strong and easy to get connected. The TV is self explanatory. The couch is comfortable, I fell asleep on it after a day's skiing. If we had time we would have walked around the neighborhood, which looked really cute. The shower had ample hot water and included shampoo and body wash. I'd go again!

Our recent stay in Shaver Lake was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful the area was. The peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air made it the perfect escape from everyday life. The place we stayed at was nicely remodeled and felt modern, clean, and welcoming. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into making the space comfortable and inviting. The layout was well thought out, and everything we needed was provided, making it easy to settle in and relax right away. One of the highlights of our experience was how responsive and helpful the host was. Anytime we had a question or concern, David was quick to reply and made sure we had everything we needed. It really added to the overall sense of comfort, knowing that we were well taken care of. We also felt like we got a great deal for the price we paid. The combination of a beautiful location, a thoughtfully designed space, and excellent service made this stay feel like a true barg

It’s like going back to what I grew up in as a child in Michigan on a small lake (without the maintenance). I didn’t have the bear themed light switches but we did have wall mounted antlers and almost identical red wood deck. Next time I’ll set aside time to sip coffee at one of the many seats on the deck in the shade of pine trees sounds of birds and the familiar smell of a distant wood burning stove. Plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Each room has a door to outside so you don’t need to disturb others if wanting to going in and out early morning. Rooms are large enough. Walkable neighborhood with a blend of rustic and newer cabins, set back from the main road so no traffic and you might find yourself picking up a short conversation with someone else outside while walking. Overall good experience and recommend for anyone wanting a cabin getaway.
