Vacation rentals in Tindale Fell

Clift Hill was where we chose to stay for our Christmas 2024 as a family of 13. It really was a great find and made our Christmas magical for the adults and children alike! The spaces were just so beautiful and really worked for us and the children absolutely loved running around playing hide and seek etc and just having a brilliant time. We loved the kitchen and congregating around the island while someone was making food and then sitting down for dinner in the extensive dining room, lighting a fire and candles to make it extra Christmassey and then retiring to the lounge afterwards for a film/games. The children didn’t want to leave and said can we come back again next Christmas and one even said it was their favourite holiday ever! Roland - although I didn’t meet him personally was brilliant at communicating and I felt like I could message to ask questions at any time of the day, any day (even Xmas day) Sorry Roland! So would definitely reccomend this house for relaxed time away!

The cottage is lovely if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place which we were! Lovely log burner with everything we needed to have a fire when we arrived. Hot tub was a great addition. The kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay and everything was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable with lovely fresh linen. The only down side for us were the beds are doubles and we are used to a king size bed but we knew that before we arrived. Great space, comfy lounge, huge TV, great little enclosed garden so we knew the dog was secure. We would definatley recommend a stay here!

Cannot fault this gorgeous cottage, we had such a wonderful time. Everything was pristine and all our needs were met. This is by far the best Airbnb I have stayed in and already looking to come again. Thanks Nicola for being a wonderful host. 5*!!!!!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Ralph’s cabin near Penrith! Ralph was a fantastic host with excellent communication, even offering to adjust the heating for us remotely, which was so thoughtful. The cabin was cozy with nice, comfy beds, and the kids were thrilled with the selection of games available. We even spotted wild rabbits outside the bedroom window, which was a special treat! The location is ideal, close to Keswick, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.

It was a really good stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very helpful. I’d never used air bnb before. And arranged this last minute.

We stayed at The Old URC over Xmas and had a wonderful time. the place is gorgeous, beautifully converted and was warm, inviting and cosy. The place had everything we needed and we will definitely be staying here again.

We couldn’t have asked for more from a host. Tina was incredibly thoughtful and very responsive throughout. Her communication was helpful and clear. Tina’s place was both comfortable and clean, providing an ideal set up and location for our family getaway. We were impressed with Tina’s consideration of the needs of our mixed group and the provision of essentials and equipment at the property. Thank you Tina - what a wonderful host, you really had thought of every detail!

Stayed here for a second time in two weeks on our way back from holiday in Scotland (having stayed on our way up too). Spotless and cosy as before although weather had cooled a bit (last weekend of Sept) so was a little chilly at night even with the heater on. Worth noting for late autumn/winter stays. Great to see Mike again - top host. Also it’s worth the half hour drive to the Drover’s Rest pub in Monkhill with its great range of draft beers from local independents, amazing 10 inch hot dogs and ridiculously friendly staff. Also great for dogs. We had a brilliant dinner there.

We stayed for a few days for our honeymoon. Iy was beautifully renovated and the bathroom is amazing. Everything was comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring Haweswater and the eastern lake district. We can recommend the Shap chippy and The White Horse in Kings Meaburn for food.
