It was a wonderful house in a beautiful location. Nicely decorated, very clean, with everything we needed for a weekend with friends. the beds were comfy with nice bedding and towels provided making it a stress free stay for everyone. Faye was a great host whose communication was spot on. Your within easy reach of lots of local sights including Buxton, three shires head, the roaches, luds church and the cat and Fiddle, all hikeable from the house if you're reasonably fit and that's your bag. We would definitely stay here again if we were looking at this area. We had a wonderful weekend, thank you.

Just what we needed for a fantastic week in the Peaks, near to so many lovely walks as well as being warm, very clean and well equipped. Extremely good communication from the host before our arrival - including lots of information about the area. Really appreciated all the touches provided to make our stay a home from home, including fresh ground coffee and shower gel. Thank you so much!

absolutely lovely stay. Everything was perfect and clean! They had supplied us with a cleaning products which is very helpful and even had a little hot chocolate station which was a lovely add on. Would 100% recommend and plan on staying again ☺️x

A beautifully presented cottage in a fabulous location. Very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need. Our dogs really enjoyed it and fantastic walks right out of the cottage onto the Pennine Bridleway and Pennine Way. Great hosts and very good communication - would love to return and highly recommended !

We had a lovely stay that was so peaceful but also allowed us to enjoy time with our daughter, her partner and our grandson. Beautiful surroundings that felt like being in the countryside without being isolated. The space in the chalet was plenty for the four-plus-one of us, airy and expansive. It was easy to keep a fifteen month old boy, who is just getting mobile, safe and entertained. We were blessed with the Spring weather but even if it had been poor I think we'd have not felt claustrophobic and there was a cupboard with some board games to entertain. We would recommend Kay's for a countryside break away and with half hour access to nearby towns (Kelsall village is walkable), Chester Zoo and North Wales on the doorstep there was plenty to visit. Loved it!

We had such a lovely time in the shepherds hut and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wanted a perfect view from their bed - with ponies grazing in the field and corvids flying the strong sky thermals Amazing walks directly from the hut are such a bonus and very much welcomed This is the perfect place to reset / rewind/ reconnect Fab shower and super hot water which is wonderful Thankyou Kath for your help and availability We will be back

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed every minute of it as much as the previous time!! We stayed here recently for a few days and it was a much needed break away. Eraine was once again a super responsive host!! The location of the cabin is so private and cozy and the surroundings are beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely return!!

The lodge is lovely. It’s right next to all the walks on Marsden Moor and is so very peaceful! We loved it!

Lovely, homely and spacious five bed house with walks from the front door to Combs Reservoir and up onto the High Peak, with other great walks (Mam Tor, Fernilee Reservoir, Errwood Reservoir and the ruins of Errwood Hall) only a short drive away. We were eight adults (four couples) and we had plenty of space both inside and out with our cars easily parked either on the drive or on the lane outside. Oh and only two minutes walk to the Beehive Inn - good beer, good food and a warm welcome. Jo was helpful and responsive. A really great place for our extended family gathering. Thanks Jo!
