Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Tillamook County

We stayed at this property three times during 2024 for a total of ten nights (early spring, late summer, and late fall) and found it to be perfect for our style: we stay in and cook, we walk for miles every day on the beach, and we found solitude (there were very few people around midweek on all three stays). The house is exactly what the hosts say it is, and its location simply cannot be beat. The team at Cape Escape is professional and responsive.

I do not think the pictures do Strandhus justice! There is sweetness and comfort in every corner of this home. It is clear that this is a beloved retreat for the family that owns it and they have put so much love into making the space comfortable and cozy, and we felt very lucky to be entrusted to stay in the home. The kids loved the toys, books, and the incredible pirate ship! There are sand toys and a wagon for carrying them to the beach, which is 3-4 blocks away. The kitchen is very well stocked and the coffee and tea were a nice touch. The bunk bedroom is fun for children with themed toys, stuffed animals and decorations. The house is great for toddlers - there's a pack n play or a lower bunk with a rail, a potty seat, and no breakable items in places kids can get into. The primary bedroom is comfortable and relaxing and the hot tub was perfect. We did not use the sauna or the yoga mats but would have if we didn't have the kids with us! We'd certainly stay here again.

We spent a weekend here on a work retreat. This home has amazing views. The kitchen was fantastic, everyone enjoyed the home.

We had a great time visiting the coast and this was a great home base for us! Went north up the coast one day and the south the next so is a great central location for this. Rockaway beach was a great little town also and had plenty to offer. Ate at Grumpys and tie breaker both were very good. The short walk to the beach was great for us and had a nice day hanging and swam at the beach. The kids did a bike ride around the neighborhood so was nice that those were available. The house was cozy, clean, and everything worked well. This was a nice private spot. There’s a lot of nice operable windows and daylight.

We had an amazing visit with our family of five. The house was immaculate with an amazing setting and view. Comfortable and beautifully decorated. Just minutes from Pacific City, beaches and hiking. The kitchen was well stocked - I was able to make a Thanksgiving dinner without needing to buy a single dish or gadget. We loved waking up every morning with our coffee watching the birds over the water. Can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and Pelican Brewing. Quiet neighborhood also. Highly recommend!

Stayed for the King Tides, which did not disappoint. The construction was really a non issue. The unit was very clean, and the view could not be beat! The beach access was perfect. We loved eating at Rosanna's one night and the kitchen was well appointed to cook the next night. The beach is wonderful and there were many people out looking for agates and jasper. We did have neighbors upstairs who we could hear very well. We knew we were the middle unit so we were not surprised or bothered but other guests should be aware they will have some noise if anyone is staying upstairs. Heather and Ivy were attentive and quick to respond. We did not need anything extra but I know if we had, it would have been taken care of. We have stayed all over the Oregon Coast but never in the Oceanside-Netarts area, it was really lovely. It was a wonderful last minute stay, would stay again in a heartbeat!!!

The place is so much better in person. The ceilings are low in the lower unit but I was comfortable as I’m only 5’6”. You can clearly hear the folks upstairs walking but they respected the quiet hours so no problem there. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Location in Oceanside. Quiet and peaceful. Not far from the beach and restaurants. A lot of the stores and restaurants close early, so make sure you plan ahead but overall would definitely stay here again

We LOVED staying in this condo. Owner was incredibly flexible with our dogs. You have a private walk to the beach which is so convenient and a beautiful view of the beach right from the living room window. Absolutely would recommend.

Amazing View!!! I’m A coffee girl and so is my bestie. They had a pour over, French press, another one(can’t remember), and a coffee pot! So many choices! They even had coffee filters. They also had shampoo/conditioner and body wash! Very cozy and homey! Plan on going back again!

amazing stay! had some of the most beautiful views from the patio. it was very comfortable & homey, we even brought out “the game of life” for a game night! will definitely stay again, thank you!

Allison’s place is a breath of fresh air. This is a comfy spot for one or two and your furry friend. The surroundings were peaceful. Allison made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and was quick to respond to questions. I would come back here to stay again.
