We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

Francis was such a lovely host. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything for our stay. The accommodation was very clean, had all the facilities and was ideally located for our stay. Francis left us clear instructions to check in/out and during our stay and his communication was great. Would highly recommend a stay at Francis's place and cannot thank you enough for our lovely stay!

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

This is a good place to stay for groups of 3 or 4, travelling by car and planning to visit both the city and the beautiful countryside of Durham County. We went both to both up Weardale to the foothills of the Pennines and to the coast at Seaham on our day trip. This row-house cottage is nice, comfortable with an efficient central heating system. The kitchen/dining room is well equipped. Anthony left us both cows and Oat milk, which was nice. The only downside is that the the tiled floors are cold, if you don't have thick socks or slippers/indoor shoes with thicker soles than the hotel slip-ons that the hosts provide. Also the local pub is a bit further away than we'd assumed and is under new management and no longer serving food. However, Anthony told us about two alternate pubs offering evening meals. The most impressive was The New Board Inn at Hill Top (DH7-(9RL), which has a great Sunday evening quiz.

The home was warm and cosy, with plenty of space for the 4 of us. A well equipped kitchen let us prep meals, and a spacious lounge + dining room let us relax after a busy day. We wouldnt hesitate to come back next time we visit.

We had a lovely stay at Kate's house. We loved walking into town through the park along the river. The house was clean, stylish and comfortable with outside space. It was also great to have parking and take our dogs so we had a super time at Russell Street.

A lovely caravan very close to the sea. It was beautifully maintained. The kitchen was excellent. A slow cooker and an air fryer+ a full gas cooker and microwave. I was spoiled for choice!! The price was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely caravan to anyone. Thanks Lynn. A very friendly and helpful host.

Beautiful place with beautiful surroundings. Lodge was clean and ready for when we arrived, delicious restaurant on site too. Went as a couple for a celebration- would definitely recommend

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

This was a very special place to stay. The description doesn’t do it justice! It is spacious, well equipped and has lots of extras! We had an electric issue but it was sorted very quickly which we were amazed by as it was a bank holiday weekend. The neighbours were super friendly and even changed our flat tyre.

We had a lovely weekend staying at Serendipity to visit the Christmas markets in York. The place has everything we needed and more and Rachael had kindly left the heating on for us so we were super cosy when we arrived in the evening too. Very comfortable bed with great pillows and a great power shower - the all important things! Also a lovely extra touch with some treats for us and the dogs, plus milk, tea and coffee. Our 8 year old loved the addition of the XBOX and extra toys to play with too! Thank you so much Rachael! Helen, Dave, Fin, Olive & Gus x

Lovely caravan, clean, has everything you need such as towels, pots pans, tea & coffee etc. Comfortable bed & sofas. Easy lockbox check in. Easy to park & quite close to caravan. Couldn’t work the WiFi but to be fair it was a nice rest from our phones. Heating was good when on however did drop really cold on an evening but blankets etc provided. Shower was lovely & powerful. Lots of storage too for clothes etc. No paths surrounding so do have to get everything from car to caravan over grass and it was raining when we arrived which didn’t help but wasn’t a major thing just something to note that it can get quite muddy. Lovely stay, so close to the beach which we all enjoyed despite soggy weather! The complex itself is nice if you want to do swimming etc but the music does go on until around 11:30pm and can hear it in the van. Overall lovely stay, great weekend. Thank you!

If there was a six star rating then I would definitely pick that! Julian’s house is superb, we stayed for 4 nights after the new year as a family and have had the best time. The house is just beautiful in a gorgeous location and very spacious. There were 9 of us and 3 dogs all together and we had more than enough room. I would wholeheartedly recommend Foxhall farm along with Julian and Jolene who are great and very helpful. Thank you for fab holiday 🥰

Fantastic and extremely clean stay! Lynne greeted us on arrival and made us feel right at home. A very detailed instruction pack was provided which made it easy to know how to use the various appliances in the kitchen and rooms. The location is so peaceful and feels very secure, and the accommodation itself was so cosy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for any future stays!

The cottage was beautiful and very clean. We felt comfortable and cosy with the log fire and blankets for the sofa. Our dog was made to feel as welcome as we were with treats and toys etc provided. The WiFi was not great but the host had mentioned this already and there were dvds to watch instead of being reliant on free view. Beautiful area to explore and locals in the village seemed very friendly. Will hope to return.

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Lovely house, clean and tidy. Perfect location for me with shops, town, bars, sea all within walking distance. Instructions were super clear and they provided me with contract details just in case.

We are a family of four with kids aged 12&14. We would recommend a stay at this charming and peaceful little cottage which is well connected for amenities and for visiting the surrounding areas such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby, Goathland and more. The welcome pack recommended Botham’s Bakery in nearby Sleights which was great, the lemon buns are lovely! The cottage is very dog friendly. The bedrooms are really nicely styled and decorated and this made for a good night’s sleep! We didn’t need help during the stay as everything was so well organised and the information pack at the cottage had everything we needed, but Lora was available/happy to help if we had wanted anything. Thank you!

Just back from a couple of nights stay at Low Moss. It lived up to expectations in every which way. Easy to find and clear directions given on the route from the main road. Perfect spot for couples to go and escape for a while. Kitchen has everything you could need and the living room is nice and cosy to sit on the sofa with the fire on either reading a book or watching some tv. The bed is huge and got some solid sleep in on it, and obviously the bath is an extra nice touch. We were lucky when looking to see the dates free that we went and we’ll be keeping and eye for the future as we’d definitely go back for another stay.

Had a fantastic stay, Nick is a fantastic host and the pod was amazing. They are located in a stunning setting, will definitely be back for another visit. Many thanks Dannielle
