Cottage vacation rentals in The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield

Enjoyed our time here. The house was just what we were looking for. Three en-suite rooms. A large living room. A cosy place to stay. The hot tub was enjoyable. All good.

We were a group of friends congregating at the cottage for a reunion weekend. It had everting we needed and although we had a couple of power cuts in the area due to Storm Darragh, Catherine was proactive in helping us try to fix the problem and provided torches and extra bedding for us. Otherwise it was a cosy and enjoyable place to stay.

We had a lovely stay, the hosts were responsive and really welcoming. The barn is as seen in the photos with a nice amount of space for 2. Great location as you feel very secluded but you’re only a short drive from the neighbouring cities if you want to do any activities and the barn cat making an appearance was a lovely addition as well

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless and perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends. The optional hot tub was a great touch, allowing us to customise our experience, and we highly recommend the gin experience - it was a unique and fun addition to our trip! Overall, a wonderful place to unwind, we’d love to come back.

We had a lovely stay ! We traveled by train so the house is so conveniently close to the station. It’s comfortable and very clean and we enjoyed playing the games provided. The kitchen has everything you’d need though we ate local take aways - which are plentiful! The hot tub is gorgeous! Really luxurious and special having the robes and slippers provided just like a spa ! Thanks so much .

We stayed here for Christmas so we could visit family. The cottage was perfect for our needs. Lovely and cozy. Mary was great with communication - clear instructions in plenty of time for our arrival and always prompt to reply. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the castle, Abbey Field, restaurants and shops. The kitchen is amazing and well stocked. I would stay there again.

Bianka and Jan have a beautiful place, it was incredibly quiet, off set from the hustle and hustle and relaxing. Plenty of parking, plenty of room, excellent space in the bedrooms and two living spaces made it ideal! very responsive, cute little touches with the tray of goodies! The space was clean, nicely laid out and lots of room to relax!

lovely stay jackie is very friendly! the cottage is sweet, and full of original historic character fitting the village... which is worth exploring then you can snuggle up by the log fire in the cosy living room! the place has all modern appliances & is great for dogs with beautiful enclosed back garden, just watch out for the main road... We'll be back soon. Bonnie loved it :) xXx

Excellent accommodation and facilities provided. Bread, milk and extras provided. A delicious cake very welcome could not want for anything else. Super warm, we even had to keep turning the heating down. Absolutely super hosts and very accommodating, did not mind my 2 small dogs running around their garden which was fenced in. Property was as described, booked for our operatives and they where very happy with the rooms having their own facilities.

Claire was a perfect host! We stayed at the coach house for around 6 weeks due to our house being damaged in a flood! She was very accommodating and let us take our fur babies with us too! My little girl even learnt to crawl in the lovely living area. Great area with lots to do! The house was spotless and well kept! Would definitely recommend. Be nice to visit again and visit more of the pubs! Thank you so much!

We planned to use the cottage for a wedding in the area and ended up having a wonderful weekend break. The cottage is extremely comfortable with everything you need. The location is perfect on the canal by a working lock and the are is beautiful. Stratford is nearby and we even managed to get to an outdoor afternoon performance. I would recommend the cottage to anyone.

I would describe the old workshop as an oasis of comfort and elegance. It is cozy and stylish, and the hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. I had a fantastic stay.

A peaceful stay in an amazing location for visiting the local area with lovely views of the castle. Despite having neighbours next door it still felt isolated and quiet, exactly what we wanted. Zoe was very speedy in responding to any queries and provided useful directions to find the property, which is on a private road. There was also a handy welcome pack in the cottage with lots of information on the local area.

Second time I stayed at Roger's cottage and can't fault it. Lovely location and Roger is ever so friendly and helpful. Will book again for next year that's for sure.

Russels House was great, it was clean it is a great space and very welcoming, and well equipped, and Russel had it set so it was warm and welcoming when we arrived had no issues while we used the house, it is very central and the area is beautiful, Russel left folder full of information, very close to the local attractions and suited us for getting back and fourth to our daughter which was 10 mins drive, what a great space will be using again in the future thank you Russel Five star stay

This was the perfect place to spend our Christmas. A picture perfect cottage in an idyllic English village. Made all the more special by Katherine’s attention to detail and wonderful Christmas decorations. The Woodstove kept the downstairs so warm that we had to open the kitchen door at one point to let some heat out 😂. And I became obsessed with the spiral staircase and wanted to take it home with me. Thanks Katherine!. We had a great time. Can’t recommend Stonegaze highly enough.

Jo was really proactive and friendly. The surroundings were beautiful. Really a lovely stay. Lovely little touch with the breakfast items and a birthday card for me too. Thank you again
