Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. Unfortunately, there is NO TV or WiFi, and cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

Charming, year around cottage. Nothing beats being in the middle of our pristine lake or sitting on the deck watching nature in all her glory! And when you're ready for something a little bigger, Lake Michigan is a short drive; along with world famous Legs Inn (closes mid Oct) as are the "big" cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City! Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!

There is no lake access at the cottage, private dock is available at our home a few doors down. Wintertime: 4 miles to ski & snowboard Boyne Mtn, Avalanche indoor waterpark too! 9.6 miles to Jordan Valley snowmobile parking. This cozy little space is the perfect retreat for you to explore everything Northern Michigan has to offer. As soon as you walk into our quiet little getaway, you will feel at home. Just a couple minutes from the cute shops and restaurants that line Cheboygans Main Street, and about 20 minutes from Mackinac City's famous fudge shops and the ferry docks for Mackinac Island.

Bring your kayaks and your fishing poles - nice deck to watch the sunset. Dogs are welcome for an additional one time fee of $35.00. There is no fence and because this house is on the lake dogs and children must be watched at all times.
