Beachfront vacation rentals in The Gambia

Paddy is an amazing host, made me feel welcome and greeted me quite late after my flight was delayed. He is very friendly has very good recommendations and replies very quickly to any question! Paddy thank you very much not only for hosting me but for the wonderful work you do, you are an amazing person and I am very grateful to have met you.

The room was nice and large with a large bed. The beach was few minutes walk from my room and you can hear the ocean. The beach is vey long and sandy, and very quiet. I would bring something warm for the evenings because the wind from the sea can be cold. Kitabu and his team built a camp fire in the evenings which was lovely. The host and his team were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The chef cooked lovely fresh food. If I needed to go anywhere a taxi was always available with great conversation. There is shop 10 mins walk so you can top up any supplies. The village is not too far and woth a visit. A lovely experience.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Nemasu Lodge together with my friends for a few days. We enjoyed the quietness and privacy of the accommodation. The nearby beach was clean and perfect to relax. We had booked rooms with sea view. The rooms come with a small terrace which is nice to hang around in the evening hours and enjoy the sunset. It was lovely to fall asleep with the sound of the waves. The staff was very helpful and friendly - Hillary was reachable to all times and gave helpful advice and recommendations. Staying at Greg and Hilary’s place was a great Airbnb experience. Hilary and her staff made us feel welcome right from the start. The hut was spacious, light and clean and we really loved the hut’s African-style. This is what you hope to find when it comes to staying at an accomdation. Besides that, the location (the beach is just in front of the accomodation) is a great addition, everything is carefully looked after and the food (lunch and dinner) is very tasty. The place is also really really beautiful! The breakfast however could use some fruits free of charge (right now you can add a few options to your breakfast - bread with (peanut)butter or jam, tea/coffee and eggs - if you are willing to pay extra). Besides that, the WiFi didn’t work during our whole stay so we weren’t able to contact the host of our next accomodation nor could we check-in online for our flights. Despite this, the accomodation itself really made up for this, and in some way it actually felt kind of liberating to be offline for a few days. Thank you for everything!

Staying at about time was a unique experience. The place is breathtaking, everyone is very friendly and kind and everything made us feel at home. We enjoyed spending the three days we booked there so much that we ended up staying another week! We made many friends and hope to return in the near future. Thank you to everyone who works there, it was wonderful!

Good Vibes Eco Lodge is a truly magical place. The location is amazing- it's quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. You are surrounded by beautiful nature, lush garden, birds, fruit trees, baobabs, and the nearby river. The lodge is beautiful. We felt extremely comfortable and cosy, it had everything we needed. Most importantly, Ami and her family are the best and kindest hosts we have met during our travels. They made us feel like a part of the family. Ami's food is delicious - probably the best we tried in the Gambia, and her place has become the highlight of our trip. We only wish we had booked a longer stay (5 days was not enough - I can guarantee you will want to extend your stay once you are there). We left feeling like we made some truly beautiful friends and I hope we will have the chance to come back one day.

This hotel has direct beach access. The waves were too rough for us enjoy the water but we enjoyed the sea breezes. The hotel rooms are very spacious and we enjoyed having a kitchen. There is Air Conditioning in the bedrooms, but not the sitting area. There’s a poolside restaurant offering a variety of local and international dishes. The pool is well-maintained and this place is perfect as it’s location is close to most attractions, stores and a short drive to restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again and my family and i had a wonderful time.

It was a pleasure to stay at Julia's! The place was just what we needed with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a great location! We would definitely stay here again!

I had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb! The place was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities listed accurately available. I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay. The view of the ocean was simply breathtaking. The host was not only professional but also incredibly kind, making the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be staying here again.
