Elegant tasteful apartment nice touches like dressing table with mirror storage baskets. Matching mugs my favourite colour too lol Appreciated the water and milk left for me. Felt like i could live there. Lovely security staff felt safe as a lone traveller. I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and definitely stay again . The Balcony is really great and has a great view of the neighborhood. Nice neighborhood with all the shops nearby (hairdresser, gym, restaurant) and Senegambia 5 minutes by taxi. The hosts as well as the staff of the building are very professional and pleasant. They are friendly. I'll be back very soon, for sure.

We loved Antonia’s appt. It was spotlessly clean, had lots of storage space, a well equipped kitchen, modern decor and it even had a lovely, fresh fragrance as you walk in. I could definitely tell the appt. is hosted by a woman - full length mirrors, a decent hairdryer, and coat hangers that are actually suitable for dresses and strappy tops. It’s rare to get these simple things! Every single member of concierge, pool, grounds and cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - a very short walk to a lovely, quiet beach with sunbeds, umbrellas and a great bar and restaurant. Lots of other restaurants and bars are within a minutes walk but the appt. is tucked just enough away so you’re still very quiet and private. The pool and outside aesthetic is extremely nice - the appt’s terrace also gets the late afternoon sun which is lovely for when you get back from the beach/want a drink before heading out for the evening. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place and great people. A decent trek to the main tourist drag but I think that's the idea. A local taxi should work out at no more than £0.30 just ask the guys how it works. Real friendly people too. Musa was a star

Imagine, if you will, traveling to a foreign country during a pandemic, arriving at the black of night, hassled by shady immigration officers, and having no local money. Absolute nightmare, but then swoops in the angels of mercy-Lorraine and Roy! They arranged for their driver to collect us from the airport, AND paid for our visa and airport security fee. We did reimburse them. (Note: Bring only British pounds or Gambian dalasi! No cards or USD accepted.) When we arrived at their place, Lorraine brought us food so we wouldn’t starve in the night. Then the next morning, she and Roy both greeted us with big smiles and friendly advice. The place is a dream!!! There is a lovely petite kitchen with all one needs for simple meals, a tiled shower with plenty of hot water, and two clean bedrooms with comfortable beds. The outside space is an oasis. They have created a slice of paradise complete with a large clean swimming pool, lounge areas, an honor bar, and a thatched roof gazebo. Lorraine and Roy are a wealth of information, and they are quite the adventurers. Ask Roy to tell you about their adventures of crossing the desert—before the days of mobile phones, GPS, or roads. Put it this way—you’d be a fool to stay anywhere else!

This place is just amazing. Such a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. The sounds of the ocean and birds help send you into a state of calm and happiness. The house if full of wonderful curiosities, the veranda offers a beach view on one side and a more 'tropical' vibe of birds and cicadas on the other; with the sound of the ocean in the background. Just a 2 minute walk through the grounds to the beach, and this itself is peaceful and generally free of sellers. Emilie has an established property which locals appear to respect so you don't get hassle. The meals there were delicious but for choice there are a couple of restaurants within 10 min walk along the beach; all serving lovely Gambian dishes as well as your normal pizza, chips etc. All food is caught, picked on the same day so as fresh as can be. The array of fishing boats on the beach is a sight not to miss and the sunsets are beautiful. This is quite possibly the best beach front accommodation in the country!

It was a beautiful apartment and we loved the views of lush greenery. We loved watching the sunrise and the natural light that flooded the kitchen. The view of the moon at night was also gorgeous. The apartment was very clean.
