Accommodations in The Forks

We had a perfect stay here during our ski trip. Great hosts, very clean, comfy, cool decor, and great location with an amazing view of Mystery Mountain.

We loved this little Cabin. Great sunsets and views and easy commute to Saddleback and town. Beds were very comfy and we had everything we needed! We would love to stay here again (or all winter!) :)

Amy and Ken’s Kingfield home is stunning and great for a large group getaway. The location is perfect for those visiting Sugarloaf and has the added benefit of being walkable to great restaurants and shops in Kingfield. The hosts are very friendly and responsive and the surrounding are beautiful. We are already looking to book again next year!

We have a wonderful stay at Bonnie’s place while skiing at Sunday River. The place felt like home. Beds were very comfortable. The view of Sunday river from the hot tub was second to none. Bonnie was quick to respond to inquiries and very helpful.

Wow, this treehouse was just amazing! Toni was an excellent host and really made our stay special. The lake was beautiful and the treehouse was so cozy. Even in mid October this was a great trip. The lobster pound and Acadia National Park are must see’s along with the Belfast farmers market. Our friends will be hearing about this place!

I you want to have a peaceful stay at a cabin in the woods, this place’s got it! The surrounding area was very beautiful. There’s lots to do in the pond right by the cabins. The hosts are awesome! They were very proactive and quickly responded to any questions/issues we had. They also provided great local recommendations (I would also add Rangeley Lake to the list). Overall, we had a great time and we were glad we chose this place!

For our family vacation this was perfect. The kids can sled right on the property. Jay has lights along the trail for night sledding as well. We tried ice fishing for the first time and had fun with that. Our mission was for snowmobiling though, and this is a good starting point. Ride directly from the cabin without any hassles. Jay is a fantastic host. He happened to be staying at The Boathouse (next to The Bunkhouse) for a few days for his kids' school vacation, and he could not have been any friendlier. We are already looking forward to next year. The Bunkhouse is not the fanciest cabin on the lake, nor is it intended to be. It is designed for sleeping a good crowd of people who are motivated around outdoor activities. The wood stove makes returning to the cabin that much more enjoyable. The view of the lake and mountains is hard to beat, considering the tall pines surrounding the area. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would return again without thinking about it.

We have been to Greenville several times. We absolutely love it there, we have never stayed right on Moosehead Lake. The view from the Lady of the Lake was spectacular. Our accommodations were above and beyond, so much so we hated to leave. Our host (Erin) and her crew made sure every detail was taken care of and made us feel right at home. We could not thank them enough.!

Chalet in a great location and easy access. Sometimes homes that accept dogs are a little less clean than others but in this case we could have believed that our dogs were the first to be there so well-maintained. We will most likely come back in the summer. Thanks!:)
