Vacation rentals with a fireplace in The Annex, Old Toronto

Right from the moment we reached the place from a nineteen hour flight we felt right at home. The host was extremely helpful all throughout our stay. The place is so peaceful and extremely comfortable. There’s attention to detail all throughout the house. It’s elegantly decorated clean, efficient and fully stocked in every aspect. This is one of the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I’d love to come back to this place again.

The house was conveniently located, clean comfortable and safe. We came to town for a concert and we were able to use the train station (only 15 minutes away) to get to Toronto. Lots of local restaurants or places to order from nearby. Beds were comfortable and house was very clean. We loved our stay.

Cute house in terrific location, close to High Park and many amenities in Roncesvalles-Dundas area. House was spotless and well-equipped, with a a large shady back patio and garden with lots of seating. A magnificent bathroom downstairs, and an enviable large kitchen, very bright. Appliances new and high quality, including washer and dryer; full array of dishes, kitchen equipment, laundry and cleaning facilities. Great attention to detail. Bedrooms are squeezed in a bit, with one single-bed in front room, and double-bed master bedroom in basement - but both nicely furnished in heritage style. Guests need to be reminded that front entrance is through double glass doors, not main door, which leads to a separate upstairs apartment. Also, watch your head in the downstairs bedroom, where furnace duct has been covered over and creates an artificially low ceiling. But these are minor concerns and overall this was an amazing place, beautifully kept. Pamela is a wonderful host.

The place was absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. Small hiccup with the garage code but host was very responsive and we got it resolved quickly. The neighborhood was quiet and exactly what we were looking for. Perfect space for larger groups if you’re looking for a quiet getaway!

Grabbed Ruby and Bibal's place for the weekend and didn't regret it at all. Very roomy, spacious, warm feeling. Everything was just great. Bed and pull out were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. First time grabbing one in Mississauga ever and it was just a pleasure and they went above and beyond. Thanks again

Dodie’s place was amazing!! We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Toronto. It was super clean and spotless. Everything was within a short drive to get to. Dodie was an exceptional host who made sure we had everything we needed. The off street parking made coming and going so easy. The unit was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short term or even longer stay. The heated floors throughout the unit made for a comfortable stay as well. Her attention to detail as well as her decorating sense are evident throughout the place. Walking was wonderful in the neighborhood. There were 2 parks to visit with wonderful views of the lake and cliffs below. We highly recommend this place for its proximity to the beaches area, restaurants and most of all Tim Hortons. It was my first time staying in an air bnb and Emelda’s place was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed, everything was perfect. the place just felt like home. She’s very friendly, easy to communicate with and often checked on us if we needed anything, I recommend Emelda’s place to everyone looking to rent an air bnb in the area.

Gloria’s place is truly a gem. This was my second stay and I was thrilled to be able to book this luxurious, immaculate and spacious apartment again. The kitchen is well stocked, the decor is beautiful and the bed is extraordinarily comfortable. Then there are all the wonderful touches — the plush bathrobes, the great coffee, and the remarkably helpful, thoughtful and responsive host. I hope to stay here again.

This was a perfect place for our 4 person mother daughter trip! It was so nice to have a kitchen and living room space. The fire place was nice too! Bedrooms and bathrooms were very neat and tidy!

Nicolas” place was clean, warm and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the walk-in shower had good water pressure. Having Netflix was a nice feature. Overall the place met our needs and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

This gorgeous 1880's home had character and comfort and impeccable rooms. Ample parking and ease of walking distance to shops and restaurants. We would book again if needed.

a really nice property nestled away from the main city! felt like we were up north given that it's inside a York region protected forest! the property was very well stocked, really good appliances and extremely clean! Patrick was amazing in his communications: gave clear instructions and was quick in his replies! plenty of space in the property, lots of parking space, backyard space and a really nice pool area! the pool also had plenty of amenities. Definitely recommend Patrick and his Cedar Escape property!

We had the pleasure of staying at this venue for four days during our wedding, and the experience was truly exceptional. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking, scenic views that provided the perfect backdrop for our special occasion. The house itself is warm and inviting, offering ample comfortable sleeping accommodations, which made it ideal for our large family. Both the pool and hot tub were very well maintained and enjoyed throughout the weekend, and the overall upkeep of the property was impressive. The owners were incredibly kind, helpful, and highly attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond to assist us with everything, from moving chairs and tables to offering to help with both setup and teardown. Their responsiveness and clear communication made our stay even more enjoyable. We were so impressed with our experience that we’re already planning to return for a weekend getaway next summer!

Heather was a great host and she responded very promptly to our messages. We had a great week and her Lake House was tranquil and has fantastic views!
