Bed and Breakfast at Jeroen's place is ideal for travellers visiting Medemblik by rail, road, bike or boat. Jeroen and his wife are very welcoming and the communal breakfasts in the kitchen are great fun. The house was built around 1650 and is full of character, qwerky objects and pieces of art. You can relax in the lounge, make yourself a tea or coffee and come and go as you please. It is not a five star hotel but it is a 5 star home from home.

Jeroen and Peet are really lovely hosts, it was a real pleasure to get to know them. They're extremely nice and welcoming, very flexible to help with your needs, and lovely to talk to. We felt really taken care of, they brought some nice and authentic food, and were there for any help.

It was a lovely stay! Stefan is very kind and very welcoming. He makes you feel at home and if you want or need something it will be taken care of right away. The horses are wonderful and loving. Breakfast was good, with a lot of choice and you will be well taken care of by Stefan. The showers and toilets are shared and clean. There is no kitchen. The Pipo wagons are nice. Different in size. With a bed(s), table, chair, fridge, kettle, cups, coffee. Cozy on a field behind the stables, with the horses walking next to it. So don't expect a 5 star hotel. During my stay a mix of people, from different countries. Plenty to do on the farm if you like horses. It is located between the tulip fields, near dune, beach and De Nollen and villages nearby. Very nice, very sympathetic accommodating hosts.

I stayed at Stefan's place for 5 days. The piopowagen are really cozy, clean and very nicely decorated. The bathroom and toilets are super clean and nice. Stefan is a super nice guy, I felt very welcomed and the breakfast is very good! Stefan really takes care and suggests things to do around the area (like the market in Schagen that was very nice). Important to know is that stefan's place is a little off, it's between two villages, so it takes time to get to some supermarkets or other shops. Best to borrow a bike or have a car. But still, very recommended! :)

excellent place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Marianne’s place!!! Starting from a friendly welcome until the very end, Marianne was taking care of us in best possible way, at the same time giving us all the privacy and peace. The place itself is one of a kind, beautifully designed with stylish art pieces nicely embedded. The room was very comfortable to stay at with a very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The breakfasts were amazing, delicious, exquisite and beautifully served! All in all, it was a fantastic stay with a touch of luxury that made us want to come back! If it’s available, go for it!

It was just great! Super clean, very well furnished and very modern! The place offers everything you need and the breakfast is amazing! I can recommend it at any time 😊

It may be clear that this is a very special place. Even if you only stay one night, you really feel like you're all on vacation. René takes excellent care of his guests, and having breakfast in the church hall is a particularly nice experience.

Been to Miko's for the second time with our dog, top location and good breakfasts, everything within walking distance and close to the beach! Miko is also a very good host. We will definitely be back.

Lovely people and space. Felt right at home.

We spent the weekend with Irene and Thomas, the communication was smooth & we felt very comfortable with the two from the first moment. The room is very nicely decorated & was clean. We were warmly welcomed every morning with a beautiful breakfast. ☺️
